Radio Ireland FM
Irish radio, live
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Dublin alone could fill a dial twice over — Newstalk, Today FM and Phever Dublin all broadcast from the capital — and Radio Ireland FM follows the signal well past it too, out to Donegal's Highland Radio and stations across Cork, Galway and Clare. 151 Irish stations, one app, plus the bundle most radio apps here leave out entirely: CarPlay, Apple Watch, Live Activity and a proper equalizer.
• RTÉ Radio 1, Dublin's 98FM, Zenith Classic Rock and 8radio sit alongside the county stations, all in the one list.
• CarPlay puts the dial on the car's own screen, no phone in hand.
• Apple Watch plays on its own — leave the phone behind.
• Live Activity keeps the current track on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island.
• A Home Screen or Lock Screen widget starts playback with one tap.
• Podcasts pick up the slack whenever the schedule doesn't line up.
• Shazam recognition and live lyrics, where the station supports them.
• A built-in equalizer and a fade-out sleep timer round out the audio side.
No account, ever, and the interface itself runs in six languages. Radio Ireland FM costs nothing to use — a subscription only exists for anyone who wants the ads gone and the rest unlocked.

The app icon on Apple Watch and in the widget gallery showed the wrong flag. It now matches the icon on iPhone and on the App Store.
