CUT AND PASTE FILES IN FINDER Select files or folders, press Cmd+X, open the destination and press Cmd+V. Finder moves them. Nothing moves until you paste, and copying something else simply cancels the cut. Works in Finder and ForkLift. SWITCH BETWEEN WINDOWS WITH OPTION+TAB macOS's Cmd+Tab switches apps. Switchover's Option+Tab switches windows, the way Alt+Tab does: hold Option, tap Tab to step through the windows on screen, most recent first, and let go to switch. Optional live previews. CLIPBOARD HISTORY ON CMD+SHIFT+V Everything you copy - text, images and files - in a panel that opens right where you're typing. Click or press Return to paste, pin the things you reuse, search by typing, and clear the rest. Copies from password managers are never recorded. THE WINDOWS KEYS YOU MISS - Control+Option+Delete or Control+Shift+Esc opens Activity Monitor, the Task Manager reflex. - Control+Option+Up fills the screen with the front window; Control+Option+Down brings it back to size. - Option+F4 closes the window or tab. Control+W closes the tab. Every feature has its own switch, so keep the ones you like and turn off the rest. PRIVATE BY DESIGN Switchover has no network access and collects nothing. Your clipboard history stays on your Mac, inside the app's own sandbox, and can be cleared or turned off at any time. Every shortcut works as a plain hotkey. To paste or move files for you, Switchover sends one keystroke to the app in front, which macOS only allows with the Accessibility permission. Switchover asks the first time a feature needs it, explains why, and uses it for nothing else.
