AudioTamer processes audio on your Mac. It does not save recordings or send your audio anywhere. macOS asks for system audio recording permission so AudioTamer can adjust the sound in real time.
Requires macOS 15 or later. Settings apply to the current system output. Turning AudioTamer off or quitting restores the unprocessed sound, which may be louder. Compatibility with individual audio devices and third-party Audio Units varies.
