What's new in 1.20.5 • See your spirits grow: the Enhance and Awaken buttons now tell you what's still missing and where to find relics, and after training a bar at the top shows the before-and-after change. • Lumber Run results now compare with your last attempt and suggest which spirit to train next (seasonal and event spirits included). • The preview card before a run also shows before/after values. • Friends list: choose on your nickname page whether friends can see when you were last online. • The app is now a bit smaller. • Fixed several English and Japanese line breaks and overlapping text, plus stability improvements.

What's new in 1.20.3 • Friends list: mark friends as favorites to pin them to the top; everyone else is sorted by when they were last online, and the list resizes to fit. • Lumber Run stars now have three goals: drive back 80% of the bugs, clear the stage, and clear within the target time. Stars are awarded one by one on the battlefield, and even a loss earns a star if you drove back 80%. • Call the Iku now plays out in full: Iku runs in, crashes into the swarm and pushes the bugs back. • Ranged spirits standing off-camera now show up at the left edge, so you can see who is helping. • Stars still turn into firewood, and now give care items on top. • Friends' last-online times are now shown more accurately. • The friends page now fits fully on iPad screens. • With Reduce Motion on, replaying a stage no longer marks stars you already earned as "New!". • Bug fixes and stability improvements.

What's new in 1.20.1 • Music library in the Underground Farm: each of the six rooms has five albums (tracks and cover art). Grow closer to the keeper to unlock more, and set a favorite as the room's music. Albums are picked in a swipeable cover carousel, and the progress bar takes on the keeper's color. • Opening a room now fades in that room's theme. • All 16 tainted beasts have been redrawn with a flowing aura, and they appear larger in their frames and in the Backpack notes. • From Frost's Descent on, upgrading a farm room no longer needs a harvest count. • Lumber Run has its own music during the Halloween event. • Easier-to-read numbers on Lumber Run cards; the trait info page now matches the card (including bond bonuses). • Small display fixes.

What's new in 1.19.9 • Underground Farm: when Iku walks into a room, he now carries a rock in, sits down and has a quick chat with the keeper; each of the six keepers has their own reply animation. • Iku is now the same size as the other People Below in the farm. • The harvest cheer now uses a standing pose. • Tapping a butterfly flying over the camp shows its picture on the info page again (it was blank for the newest seasonal batch). • Better onboarding diagnostics so we can keep improving the first few minutes. • Small display fixes.

What's new in 1.19.8 • A new chapter, "What the world below forgets, the camp remembers": new text in the opening story, discoveries from expeditions are now noted with "I've seen this somewhere… better write it down.", and the camp journal opens with a line from Wen Yi-jun. • New "Over the years…" section on the encyclopedia About page: what has really happened to the plants behind 21 spirits in Taiwan, every line with its source. • Answer every question on a seasonal trail to recover a lost page of Yao Yu's old notes, together with a short piece on the real ecology of that trail this season. • Meetings on the trail: players on the same request at the same time may meet along the way — see the painting on their Board and decide whether to send a friend request. • A new Notices card at the top of the Board: friends who water your farm leave a note, and "Visit" takes you straight to their farm. A friend's campfire now shows their fire color. • If spirit assets haven't finished downloading at startup, the game now waits on the loading screen so you can try again, instead of opening a camp full of silhouettes. • Backpack tabs reordered, with empty tabs greyed out; the Underground Farm only asks you to deliver ingredients when you have enough. • Smoother visits to a friend's farm, plus several display fixes.

What’s new in 1.19.3 • New mode, Lumber Run: head out from the Board and help your spirits hold the camp against the bugs pouring out of their nest. Earn up to three stars per stage for firewood, Thriftwood and care items, and three-star stages can drop relics. Run out of time and the stage is lost; fallen spirits and bugs drift away as souls. • Seasonal giant bugs: during Frost's Descent, the Giant bagworm awaits in stages 8–10, and the results screen suggests which kind of spirit to train. • Flying bugs now dive down to bite and knock back your spirits — send Iku out to push the front line back. • Festival events: the Halloween Night Party runs Oct 28 – Nov 3, with an event banner on the Board, 5 limited Lumber Run stages, 6 new bugs (boss: the Death's-head hawkmoth), an event story and 3 limited decorations. • The Underground Farm replaces Cave Expedition: follow Iku below, give care items to the People Below as fertilizer, and tap the bubble over a ripe plot to harvest materials for your Rest Area. • The Rest Area can now be expanded again and again — every level houses one more spirit, and the People Below come up to pitch the tent. • Your backpack now has four tabs: Materials, Care Items, Other and Notes. Notes keeps track of the tainted beasts, bugs, butterflies and leaves you have met. • A reworked beginner guide, plus a new story for Lumber Run.
