Apple Watch is here. Score every hole from your wrist: your score, putts and the game, with front, center and back yardages on a live green map. Start a round on your phone and The Perch opens on your watch by itself. Complications put the next hole and your round score on your watch face. Siri scoring. "Hey Siri, score a 4 in The Perch" puts it on the hole you are playing; "score hole 7 in The Perch" names the hole and Siri asks how many strokes. Your golf schedule. Add a planned round (date, tee time, course), tag the friends you are playing with, or invite by email or text from your own phone. It shows up in Next up on Home and at the top of Play, with a one-tap start on the day. Weather on every planned round. Expected temperature, conditions, chance of rain and wind for your tee time, straight from the National Weather Service. Share a planned round as a card: the course, the day and time, the forecast and who is in. Email and text invites carry the same card. Team names in any team game. Name your side in Vegas, Best Ball, Four-Ball and more, when you set up the game or later in its settings. The name shows on the scoreboard and on your watch. Home Screen widget. Your estimated handicap, last round and what is next, including your scheduled rounds and their forecast, right on the Home Screen. Course not mapped yet? Tap Request mapping and we will map it within 48 hours. Plus the usual round of fixes: league nights keep their real tee times, guests' estimated handicaps show in team handicaps, and dozens of smaller polish items.
