The board is cut from Japanese patterned paper. You place one blossom at a time.
One in every row. One in every column. One in every region fenced by a thick line. And no two blossoms may touch, not even at a corner.
That is the whole rule. From there you cross out the squares that cannot hold one, and the squares that can narrow down to a single certainty.
