Jewelsteps Printer is a high-performance thermal printing utility designed for macOS. Seamlessly connect to USB and Network thermal label printers, send raw ZPL commands, preview labels, and integrate directly with web applications and POS systems. KEY FEATURES: • Direct USB Thermal Printing: Native integration with macOS CUPS printing architecture allows raw, direct-to-printer spooling without driver rasterization. Plug in your USB thermal printer and start printing instantly. • Network IP Printing (TCP Port 9100): Send raw ZPL labels over local network connections (Ethernet or Wi-Fi) with built-in connection timeout handling and automated label pacing. • Embedded Local Print Server: Includes a lightweight, zero-dependency background HTTP server running on http://127.0.0.1:5055. Web applications (such as JewelSteps / JMS) and local point-of-sale systems can easily dispatch print jobs via a simple JSON REST API (POST /print) with full CORS support. • Live Server Traffic Monitor: Track incoming print jobs, endpoint requests (/health, /print), label counts, and connection statuses in real time. • Manual Print Studio: Paste and edit raw ZPL strings with monospace formatting. Includes ready-to-use templates for jewelry tags, RFID smart labels, and Code 128 barcodes. • Real-Time Visual Preview & PDF Export: Preview your ZPL labels on screen before sending them to the printer, or export labels directly as PDF documents to your Downloads folder. • Broad Hardware Compatibility: Designed for high-density jewelry and asset tags. Supports Printronix (T800/T830 series), Zebra (ZD/ZT/GX/GK series), TSC, Honeywell, Citizen, Godex, and all ZPL-compatible thermal label printers. PRIVACY & PERFORMANCE: Jewelsteps Printer runs locally on your Mac. All print spooling and local server communications stay strictly on your local machine and network.
