Pair up with your gym partner. Set a weekly workout goal. Agree on a stake.
Snap a photo after each workout as proof. Miss your goal, and you owe your partner.
GymPal is a mobile app that keeps you accountable for going to the gym by having you check in every time you go.
GymPal requires a subscription to use. One subscription covers you and your gym partner. See SUBSCRIPTION below for details.
GymPal pairs you with a gym partner, or a small squad, and keeps you all honest. Together, you set your own rule for how many times a week you have to show up, and a wager for whoever falls short: a round of drinks, a dinner, cooking for the other, or anything you agree on. Wagers are between friends and never involve money.
Check in at the gym, snap a quick photo to prove it, and your partner sees it instantly on a widget right on their home screen.
Miss your week and you break the streak you share, not just your own.
Instead of tracking stats or metrics, GymPal focuses on one thing: showing up, with a partner who will notice if you don't.
HOW IT WORKS (subscription required)
1. Pick your gym partner.
Invite a friend and you're paired. You can grow into a small squad later. No feed, no crowd of strangers, just people you know.
2. Set your weekly rule.
Together, choose how many times a week you each have to go to the gym.
3. Check in when you get there.
Check in at the gym and snap a quick photo to prove you made it. Your partner sees it instantly.
4. See it on your home screen.
GymPal's widget shows your partner's latest check-in right on your home screen, so you always know if they showed up. And they always know if you did.
5. Keep the streak alive.
Every week you both hit your rule, your shared streak grows. Miss your week and you break it for both of you, not just yourself.
6. Put something on the line.
Agree on a wager for whoever falls short: a round of drinks, a dinner, a favor. You pick the stakes. No money involved.
WHY PEOPLE LOVE GYMPAL
Accountability that actually works, because someone is watching.
People you know, not a whole social network.

Real proof you were there, not just a tap.
Makes the gym feel like a plan you can't flake on.
Whether you're just getting started or trying to stay consistent, GymPal makes sure you show up, because your partner is counting on you.
