Sudoku: Learn and Solve is a classic 9x9 Sudoku with four difficulties, Killer and Mini 6x6 variants, a daily challenge that is the same puzzle for everyone, and the tools a careful solver wants: pencil notes, an exact undo, mistake marks, and hints that teach the technique instead of just giving the answer.
PLAY
• Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Every puzzle has exactly one solution, never needs guessing, and is graded by the hardest human technique it requires.
• Killer Sudoku: dashed cages with sums, the popular variant.
• Mini 6x6: for first-timers and short breaks.
• Pencil notes with a single tap. A correct entry clears that digit from the notes around it, and undo puts them back.
• Mistakes are marked and counted, with an optional mistake limit. Keys for fully placed digits dim so you can see what is left.
• Finish a row, column or box correctly and a gold sweep runs along it.
HINTS THAT TEACH
• A hint names the next technique, explains why it works and highlights the cells that prove it.
• Hints read your pencil notes too: a note that cannot be right is pointed out, and a cell your notes have already narrowed to one digit is shown to you.
• Technique lessons, from naked singles to X-Wing, Swordfish and Y-Wing: what each technique is, how to spot it, a worked example on a real board, and that board as a practice puzzle.
• Search any technique in Spotlight, or ask Siri to open one by name.
DAILY CHALLENGE
• One puzzle per calendar day, identical on every device. Past days stay playable.
• Streaks and monthly trophies, plus a Game Center leaderboard and achievements.
• In the Games app, open today's daily or challenge friends to your fastest daily.
• After any win, send the same board to a friend with a link.
• An optional daily reminder, which stays quiet once today is done.
ON YOUR WRIST, AND EVERYWHERE ELSE
• An Apple Watch app with Mini 6x6, playable on its own with no phone nearby. Turn the Digital Crown to pick a digit and double tap to place it.
• Progress, streaks and statistics follow your own Apple Account through iCloud, so the watch and the phone agree. MARS Studio runs no server and cannot read any of it.
• Siri and Shortcuts open the daily challenge, start a new puzzle or open a lesson. Control Center tiles and Lock Screen widgets do the same at a glance.
• Home Screen widgets, including a tall one on iOS 27 with today's board, what is left and your week.
STATS AND DETAILS
• Best time, average and win rate per difficulty and variant.
• Your game is saved after every move. Light and dark appearance. iPad keyboard support.
• VoiceOver reads every cell, key and control.

FREE, WITH ADS
Sudoku is free to play with a small banner under the keypad, an ad between puzzles, and a short video for a hint. When no ad can be shown, three free hints a day apply.

Two auto-renewable subscriptions. Ad-Free Yearly (1 year) removes every ad and includes three free hints a day. Sudoku Plus, as Sudoku Plus Annual (1 year) or Sudoku Plus Monthly (1 month), removes every ad, makes hints unlimited and unlocks every technique lesson. The price for your region is shown in the app before you subscribe. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings at any time.
