Does your child want someone to talk to without another screen to watch? AI momo is an AI voice companion that can chat on a black conversation screen. After a parent follows the guide to turn on Guided Access and turn off Touch, taps and swipes will not accidentally operate the app or switch to another app.
Talk by voice, without watching a screen
Your child speaks and AI momo answers aloud. Choose a completely black conversation screen or show only AI momo’s eyes, keeping the experience centered on listening and speaking.
Set up touch protection before the chat
A step-by-step guide helps a parent configure Apple Guided Access, turn off Touch, and practise pausing and ending a session before handing over the device.
Four conversation languages
AI momo can chat in English, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, or Korean. Set your child’s familiarity with the chat language and choose a support language for brief help when needed. AI momo is a conversation companion, not a language course or teacher.
The parent chooses the session length
Choose 5, 8, or 10 minutes. A parent can also hear AI momo’s voice before starting, review recent summaries, and manage child and privacy settings.

First use includes 10 energy. Each successfully generated reply with complete audio uses 1 energy, including the opening reply. Extra energy comes in one-time packs with no automatic renewal. Failed recognition or reply generation uses no energy; energy may already be used if playback is interrupted after generation.
Before you begin
AI momo requires an internet connection and microphone access. Voice and text are processed by cloud AI services; the app does not keep raw recordings as local chat history. AI replies can be wrong and do not replace adult supervision, teaching, medical care, or emergency help. A parent or guardian must set up AI momo and provide appropriate supervision during use.
