• Settings on one screen: a tidy two-column layout — tap Appearance, Language or Reminders to choose from a pop-up, no scrolling • Add to trip, Save and Share now stay at the bottom of every event page • Slide between options for appearance, maps and sorting, with a gentle tap of feedback as you switch options, drag sliders or change days • Your location on the map now shows which way you’re facing, so it’s easy to tell apart from events • The locate button now zooms in until your own location is visible, instead of it being hidden under event clusters • Full-screen map: when you’re within 5 km of an event, it opens showing both you and the event • Event reminders and the default reminder time are now one setting • More reliable updates: closing the app right after opening it no longer rolls it back to an older version • Tapping your own location on the map no longer pops up extra details

• Simpler filters: sort options on one line, a “Free only” switch, and time ranges (overnight events still show) • Areas now list familiar place names (e.g. Ueno · Asakusa) — tap to see just that area • Smoother launch: no more garbled flash the first time you open the app after an update • Dark mode: fixed thin white edges at the corners of the map • Stations now show the station name only, spelled the same way in English, Chinese and Japanese • Smarter search: Oktoberfest, craft beer and similar terms now find the right events • Fixed some events having no category and not appearing when filtering by category

• New — Vote together: put events to a vote in a shared trip; companions tap “Want to go”, the most-wanted rise to the top, and one tap adds it to the trip • Add events to your trip without signing in — it's saved on this phone and moves to your account when you sign in • More reliable reminders: they still go off after you restart the app or switch trips • Rain plans (rain or shine, postponed, cancelled) now shown for many more outdoor events • Smarter search: Simplified Chinese, Taiwanese terms and more title translations • Widget: the trip countdown now shows earlier

• Daily autumn-leaf reports: autumn-leaf spots are updated every day from the latest reports — cards show whether leaves are still green, turning, or at their peak • Share to Instagram Stories: event cards show in full without the sides cropped, or share just a link • More category tags: events that fit two categories (e.g. festival and food) now show up under both • Smoother start-up: no more flash of text when the app opens, and the map on event pages appears faster, and updates now download in half the size • Widget weekly forecast: now shows the low as well as the high

• Simplified Chinese: choose “简体中文” under My stuff → Language to see events and the whole app in Simplified Chinese • New events are marked: events added after you last looked at a day appear at the top, marked “New” • Your choices shape the rankings: saves, itinerary adds and ratings (when signed in), plus events you hide, count anonymously toward each event’s popularity

• Event card collection: events you've been to become cards you can swipe through. If you were recorded at the venue, the card gets a “Visited” stamp, and you can rate it as you look back • Visits recorded for you: turn it on and the venues you visit are noted even with the app closed • A shorter intro tour • Clearer event times and dates that span the new year

• Station names on the map: zoom in to see them, with major stations appearing first and clear in dark mode • The itinerary route map loads faster, and one tap opens the whole route full screen • The small map in event details appears instantly • Pan and zoom freely on the full-screen map • Search in hiragana (like はなび or まつり) to find fireworks and festivals

• Always up to date: after the app has been in the background for a while, reopening it fetches the latest events and app updates automatically — no need to fully close it first. • Easier-to-read dates: recurring events show their pattern, like “Every Sat & Sun”, and English dates (including widgets) follow your phone’s region format. • Time clash alerts: you’ll be told right away when something you add overlaps an existing plan. • Clearer share images: they now say whether booking is required, with neatly aligned details. • A more accurate intro tour, plus assorted fixes.

• Share itineraries as links: create a public link for a whole trip or a single day, with the option to hide stays, addresses or dates. • Copy someone’s itinerary: open a shared link to see each event, then copy the plan to your own itinerary in one tap. • Cleaner share images: sized for Instagram and other social apps, with consistent titles and fonts. • Clearer prices: group rates and stray symbols are no longer shown. • Dark mode and other refinements.

• Maps now use built-in Apple Maps: faster to open, smoother to scroll, and still shown offline • Distances and travel times are worked out from where you are, using real Apple Maps routes • Nicer share images: clearer itinerary layout, with the image source shown • Home Screen widgets follow Light and Dark Mode • Smoother search: no more "no results" while you are still typing, and closing an event takes you back to your results
