Make time for the books and documents you want to read. PagiSona brings reading and listening together in a calm, personal library. Designed for iPhone and iPad, with a native full-screen iPad library and reader that adapt to portrait and landscape. It also runs on Macs with Apple silicon as an iOS app in a window.
READ AND LISTEN TOGETHER
Import text-based PDFs and DRM-free EPUBs using the file picker or share sheet, including multiple files. New imports stay quiet until you choose a book. Opening an existing library book starts preparing narration. Follow the spoken line, browse independently, and choose Return to audio when ready. Line following is optional and enabled by default; a deliberate paragraph tap starts listening there.
VOICES IN 11 LANGUAGES
Emma is the included English voice. Download optional voice packs for Dutch, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, Brazilian Portuguese, Spanish, and Ukrainian. Mandarin, Spanish, Japanese and Hindi appear prominently in Settings alongside the included voice. Installed neural voices generate speech on your device without an internet connection.
YOUR READING, YOUR WAY
Adjust text size and choose 0.75x, 0.80x, 0.85x, 1.0x, 1.15x or 1.25x playback. Your chosen speed stays selected across books and app restarts until you change it. Skip 15 seconds, set a sleep timer, search words and phrases throughout a book, navigate chapters, copy text, and save highlights. PagiSona remembers your reading position.
Supported linear mathematical notation is spoken in the document's reading language while displayed text stays unchanged. This includes common operators, comparisons, grouping and simple powers; it is not equation solving or formula recognition from scanned images.
A PERSONAL LIBRARY
See covers at a glance, search and sort your collection, or drag books into your own order. Choose light, dark, or system appearance. Keep listening while using another app, with book information in system media controls. On iPhone, listening can continue with the screen locked.
LISTEN WITH CARPLAY
Bring your local library to CarPlay with Play/Pause and 15-second skips. Import books and download voices on iPhone before driving. CarPlay listening is ad-free.
BOOKS TO GET YOU STARTED
Your starter collection depends on App Store region and download availability. Eligible regions can receive Meditations, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, The Tale of Peter Rabbit, and As a Man Thinketh. Elsewhere, or when initial delivery is unavailable, begin with two short KiBRAX originals in your supported device language, otherwise English. Their AI-assisted writing and translation are disclosed. Restore included books in Settings can retry missing starters.
ON-DEVICE READING, CLEAR PRIVACY CHOICES
Imported documents, reading text and generated speech stay on your device. No account is required. Voice packs and eligible classics need an initial internet download.
On iPhone and iPad, adults who choose advertising services may receive limited, non-personalized ads at eligible Library listening starts or after a book finishes, never during narration. The first three Library openings to listen are ad-free. Resuming the same book within 12 hours of its session start does not show another start ad; Play/Pause inside the reader does not count as a new Library opening. Under-18, skipped and undisclosed age choices keep full reading functionality without starting advertising services. Advertising and consent services can process network, identifier, usage and diagnostic data as explained in our privacy notice. Mac listening remains ad-free.
Scanned PDFs requiring OCR, DRM-protected EPUBs and some complex layouts are unsupported. Preparation time and pronunciation vary by document and device. A visible message explains any fallback to an installed Apple system voice.
