CDL knowledge test is administered by your state, and states differ. In
California, any vehicle towing a trailer is held to 55 mph — a generic
national app will teach you the answer that fails you at the counter.
So we read all fifty official state handbooks. 36 states publish rules of
their own, and we wrote questions from them and cited the page. The other
15 publish the federal manual unchanged, which means the federal bank
covers their test in full — and we say so rather than pretending otherwise.
