Record an expense in one sentence, and ask what is left. Sapir answers with a number, and confirms every detail before she records anything.
Sapir is an expense tracker you talk to.
No screens, no forms, no tables: one line to write in. Record an expense, ask what the balance is, ask what went out this month.
WHY PEOPLE USE IT
• Recording an expense takes one sentence, so it actually gets done
• An answer with a number, not a link to another screen
• Nothing is recorded until you confirm it, so the ledger stays clean
• Works the same in Hebrew and in English
WHAT YOU CAN SAY
Record an expense or an income:
• "52 on coffee, on the credit card" - Sapir matches the account and the category, and shows you exactly what she is about to record before she does
• "Salary came in, 14,200" - recorded to the account you name, or to the one she asks about
• "I paid 1,800 for insurance yesterday" - a date in plain words is understood
Ask a question:
• "What went out this month and on what" - a breakdown by category, from your own numbers
• "How much is left in the food budget" - an answer with a number
• "How much is in the current account" - the balance, as you last recorded it
• "What did I spend on groceries last month" - a figure, not a screen to go and read
Ask her to set something up:
• "Open me a new savings account" - Sapir opens it, after you confirm
• "Add a category for the dog" - created once you approve it
THE MONTHLY REPORT
A report that arrives inside the conversation, at the hour and the frequency you choose, or switched off entirely. It reads like a message from a person, not like a spreadsheet: what came in, what went out, and where it went.
BEFORE SHE RECORDS
Sapir never touches money without confirmation. Every entry, every change and every new account goes through a confirmation that spells out amount, account, date and category. When a detail is missing she asks instead of guessing.
BUILT FOR HEBREW
Full Hebrew right to left, and English. Chosen before Sapir starts, and switchable at any moment.
SAPIR AND PROSPERIU
Sapir is the assistant of Prosperiu, the personal finance tracker. Exactly the same account: what is recorded here appears there, and the other way round. You can sign up and use Sapir on her own, with nothing else installed. This app has no Prosperiu screens in it, it has a conversation.
WHAT SAPIR IS NOT
Not an investment adviser, and she recommends no buying or selling. Not connected to a bank, a card or a broker, and she moves no money anywhere. Every number is what you recorded, yourself or through her.
WHO IT IS FOR
Anyone who has tried a budgeting app and stopped using it after a week. The reason is almost always the same: recording takes too long. Here it takes one sentence, and the rest of the month looks after itself.
YOUR DATA
Sapir answers using a language model from Anthropic, an outside company. Before the first message a screen states exactly what is sent and what is not, and it has to be accepted. The consent can be withdrawn at any moment, and account deletion lives in Sapir's own menu and removes everything permanently. Every reply carries a Report action, so anything the model gets wrong can be flagged from inside the app.
Record your first expense in one sentence.

Version 1.2.3 — Sapir gets it right, and tells the truth
This release is about one thing: that the number Sapir gives you is the number actually in your account, and that she never says she did something she did not do.
What Sapir now knows
• She counts by your selection on the Accounts page. If you selected only your current account, "how much do I have" answers accordingly — and she names what was left out instead of staying silent about it.
• She knows a charge on a credit card ultimately leaves the account the card settles against.
• She tells apart "a transfer is not an expense" from "the transfer did leave this account".
• The interest portion of a loan payment comes from the amortisation schedule, same as the loan page.
What Sapir can now do
• Correct an account balance against your bank. She shows the difference, asks for confirmation, and marks the balance current so old charges are not generated backwards.
• Write to a flow shared with you for editing — and it lands in the right flow.
What Sapir no longer does
• She does not say "recorded" when nothing was. We closed five phrasings where a confirmation could go out with no write behind it, including batch confirmations and confirmations after an opening line.
• She does not quote a balance that was not read, including a figure sitting on its own line under a heading.
• She does not move a charge date into the past, which would create charges on money already paid.
And what she is allowed to say again
• "I did not record anything" without that counting as a write claim.
• Answers about what was deleted or updated this month.
• Talk about standing orders and about crypto tokens without being blocked by mistake.
