• What to watch tonight? In your Library, CUT draws a title from your list: movies, shows, or a short night. Tap “Another” if it doesn't grab you. • Long-press the icon: What to watch tonight, the Sort, search and your list, in one gesture. • Siri no longer suggests a film that isn't out yet. • Trailers follow the language chosen in CUT, even when your phone speaks another one. • On first launch, no trailer loads behind the welcome screens anymore: less data used. • VoiceOver: the Sort's actions speak the app's language.

CUT.'s biggest update yet. • Movie night together: start one from the Sort, share the code, and sort the same stack as a group. The first title everyone keeps is tonight's film. • Release calendar: upcoming films from your list and the next episode of your series, month by month, all the way into Calendar. • Letterboxd and IMDb import: bring your watched films, your ratings and your watchlist. • Your year: a look back at everything you watched, your genres in color, ready to share as a story. • Siri and Spotlight: “What should I watch tonight with CUT.”, and your titles in your phone's search. • CUT+: an alert when a title on your list lands on one of your platforms. • Spoilers: a review that gives the plot away opens with a tap, and ||a passage|| can hide itself. • CUT. now speaks Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese. • Sharing: cards now reach Instagram (story, post, message), and can be saved to Photos. • Notifications: new followers, replies and messages now reach you, in your language. • Messages redesigned: conversations grouped by date, bold, italics and links in messages. • CUT+: your showcase now holds twelve posters.

Messaging someone no longer means hunting for their profile. • New message: the pencil on the Messages screen lists the members you follow who also follow you. Search a username, tap, write. • In your followers and following lists, a bubble appears next to everyone you can message — the moment you follow them back. • Sorting no longer removes a title that was already on your list, and a card kept past the free limit no longer vanishes without being added. • Switching seasons quickly now shows the right season's episodes. • A title page that fails to load now says so, with a button to try again. • After a voice message, the next trailer plays with its normal sound again.

Messaging, the way it should have shipped — now with your voice. • Voice messages: tap the mic, talk, send. Only you and the person you're talking to can play them. • A thread you can read: grouped bubbles, day separators, the time of each exchange, and "typing…" when they're answering. • A message that couldn't go out stays on screen, ready to resend. • Messages really do arrive live now: one sent while you were opening the conversation could go missing for good. • A conversation you open shows up in the list right away, and its badge clears as soon as you've read it. • Scroll back: everything older than the last fifty messages was out of reach. • Pull to refresh, in the list and inside a thread — and coming back to the app restores live updates instead of leaving yesterday's screen. • "Write" appears the moment you follow someone back, without leaving their profile. • The whole messaging experience is finally translated into English. • The titles suggested under a film or series finally relate to it: they now come from what people actually watch together, instead of a plain keyword match. • Sturdier on a shaky network: a one-second drop at launch no longer leaves your Library empty, and a message or reply you just sent no longer vanishes from the screen. • "Watch on" no longer lists the same service twice, and episode summaries line up properly.

Talk to each other. • Reply to reviews: every published review now has a thread, and you're notified when someone replies to yours. • Private messages: write to members you follow who follow you back. Conversations update live, and each one can be muted on its own. • Report or block from a thread just as from a message, and a review's author can also remove a reply left on their own page. • Feeds and profiles open noticeably faster: likes used to cost two requests for every single row on screen.

Social, made better. • Your feed catches up when you come back to the app, and a pull down refreshes it whenever you want. • Every account you follow shows in your feed: past thirty, the oldest ones had stopped appearing. • Finding members: search now matches anywhere in a handle or a name — "cinema" finds "lea_cinema". • And with nothing typed, the directory suggests members who post, so your feed fills from day one. • Explore: the people row responds to touch again, and a search that only finds an actor now says so.

A reliability update: fewer surprises, clearer messages. • "Forgot password?" now works end to end: the link in the email opens a page where you choose a new password. • Errors are explained in plain words — no more technical messages when a password is wrong or the network is down. • The CUT+ badge follows your purchase everywhere, even when bought or restored while your showcase is loading, and it now shows in member search, follower lists and "who liked". • Live sessions now work for films longer than five hours.

Your followers finally show up, and signing in no longer gets stuck. • Signing in to an existing account from the welcome screen — on a new iPhone or after reinstalling the app — could leave you stuck on that screen. Fixed. • The follower count said "1" above an empty list — it now counts exactly what the list shows. • Member search finds people by name, not just by handle. • Accounts still without a showcase are asked to open one: without a handle, nobody could see or find them, even when following them. • VoiceOver now correctly announces "Follow" and "Unfollow".

A new look, and notifications. • A new app icon: Indigo. • Eight more icons to choose from, for CUT+ members — Black, White, Dawn, Glass, Graphite, Wave, Electric, Eclipse. • A new launch screen, now held long enough to be seen. • Sign in with Apple: create your account in one tap, with no password to remember. • You're told when someone follows you. • New episodes of your shows and the Sunday recap now reach your screen. Fixed: after signing up, your showcase refused to open — new members stayed invisible to their friends. And we now ask for your handle before your first follow, so the person you follow knows who you are.
