Hamarka is a number puzzle for playing calmly. Especially at night. And it's addictive, in the good way: short games that chain together before you notice.
A REAL DARK MODE
Almost every game like this is a white screen that blinds you at eleven at night. Hamarka has a full dark theme, built for playing in bed with the lights off without ending up with a headache. And a light one for daytime. It follows your phone, or you pick.
THE “+” BUTTON WILL NEVER ASK YOU FOR ANYTHING
There are no ads. Not on opening, not when you finish a stage, not when you ask for a hint, not when you press “+” to add numbers. None, anywhere, ever.
No subscription either, no coins, no lives running out, no events, no pop-ups every time you come back.
FREE TO START, ONE PAYMENT FOREVER
Hamarka is free to download, and the first four Easy stages are free to play, as many times as you like. If you get hooked, the full game unlocks with a single in-app purchase: the rest of the Easy stages, the Zen and Classic modes, and Medium, Hard and Expert, which open up as you play. You pay once and it's yours.
HOW TO PLAY
You get a board full of numbers from 1 to 9. You clear them in pairs: two equal numbers, or two that add up to 10. A pair counts if the numbers sit next to each other in reading order, one above the other, or diagonally. Here's the trick: cleared cells no longer get in the way, so two far-apart numbers can end up as neighbours.
When you run out of moves, the + button adds the surviving numbers to the end of the board and you carry on. You clear the stage when none are left.
YOUR GAME WAITS FOR YOU
Each difficulty keeps its own saved game, exactly where you left it, and it never expires. Come back tomorrow or in two months: it will be the same. You can have one going in Easy and another in Expert without them clashing.
SIX MODES
Easy, to learn without pressure. Medium and Hard, once it clicks. Expert, for when you want to suffer. Plus two modes of their own: Zen, with no pressure at all, and Classic, the good old pencil-and-paper board.
Each mode scores differently. The harder it gets, the more your points are worth.
NO CLOCK, NO PUNISHMENT
There is no countdown. Mistakes are not penalised. There is no streak to lose by skipping a day. You play at your own pace and stop whenever you like.

In Easy and Zen the boards always have a solution.
Stages never run out, with special marks when you reach stage 5, 10, 25, 50, 100 and 200.

The name comes from Basque: hamar means ten.
