EASI - eFoil Network
A ride history you can prove
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Log every eFoil session, keep your boards and gear in one place, and find eFoil schools and rental centres near you, anywhere in the world. Free for every rider.
A free logbook and map for anyone who rides an eFoil. Log every session, keep your quiver in one place, and find eFoil operators anywhere in the world.
EVERY RIDE, IN ONE PLACE
Where you rode, how long, the conditions, the gear, who was with you. Your logbook builds itself.
A LOGBOOK THAT MEANS SOMETHING
Anyone can claim hours. When you ride with an accredited operator or one of its instructors, they can confirm the sessions they ran — which is what an operator looks for before renting you a board unsupervised.
FIND SOMEWHERE TO RIDE
Search the directory of eFoil operators — schools, rental centres and guided riding — plus shops and instructors, and see them on the map. Any eFoil business can apply to be listed.
YOUR QUIVER, TRACKED
Boards, masts, wings, batteries. Set a preferred setup and take it with you wherever you ride.
BUILT ON A WRITTEN STANDARD
EASI publishes a safety and training standard and accredits operator businesses against it. Rider and instructor levels are assessed and awarded by those operators; EASI records them. EASI does not train, examine or assess any individual.
EASI is a private, voluntary industry scheme. It is not accredited by, or affiliated with, the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), holds no recognition under retained Regulation (EC) 765/2008, and is not a national accreditation body. EASI accreditation applies to operator businesses only and carries no government or UKAS status.
more 1.2.0 rebuilds every school, shop, repair service, brand team and instructor profile, and puts a rider's profile in one scroll.
Profiles. The five professional profiles are redrawn in their role's own colour, with three tabs: About, Details (Teaching on an instructor's profile) and Contact. An instructor's profile lists the schools they teach at, and a school's profile lists its instructors; each opens the other. A school shows Insured only while its checked cover is in date.
Editing a profile. The five profile editors match their profiles, section by section, and are mostly taps and chips instead of typing. Edit Instructor Profile is regrouped the same way.
Insurance. eFoil schools and rental businesses send their insurance certificate from their own profile, as a photo or a PDF, and EASI checks it. A card on their profile says where it stands and when the cover runs out.
Your rider profile. Your public profile reads in one scroll with the best first: your hours, countries and Verified at the top, and your preferred eFoil setup folded underneath.
Share the app. Account > App > Share the app opens your phone's own share sheet.
Faster. The Dashboard shows your last card straight away while it refreshes, the app keeps its connection to our server open between screens, and the course list downloads a third of what it did.
1.2.0 10h ago
1.1.9 makes awarding a rider level a single tap, and gives a session's ride file a place of its own.
Rider levels. On a rider's page inside a session, an instructor awards a level by tapping one of four level tiles, each award with its own reason. Levels the rider already holds are ticked and can be withdrawn the same way. The levels show as chevrons under the rider's card and on each rider row in Session Details. The award card shows only to the instructor or school that can award on that session.
Ride Time. A rider's minutes read as "57 minutes", with a one-line box to change them.
The ride file. On Session Details the ride file has its own card, The Ride Itself, between the required details and the rest, and it says when there is no ride file yet. Replacing a ride file asks first and says what the new file sets: the date, the duration and the map pin.
Importing past sessions. Send a corrected file you imported before and the import screen offers to update the sessions it changed, and says how many sessions are added and how many updated.
Smaller changes. In the bottom bar, the icons of the pages you are not on are brand orange instead of grey. Ride files from Venturi are recorded as Venturi rides.
1.1.9 2d ago
1.1.8 puts an icon beside every page title, makes the map pop-ups smaller and clearer, and lets the Discover lists take you to the pin.
A title with an icon. Every page title sits in a frosted capsule beside the icon the bottom bar uses for that page. Business and instructor profiles, their editors and the role applications show EASI's own role tile: the profiles are titled Profile and the editors Edit Profile, and the chip on the page still names the role. Long titles shrink to fit instead of being cut off.
Discover lists that find the pin. Tap a member or business in a Discover list and the map flies to their pin and opens its pop-up. List rows show a state, province or nation flag where there is one, and a tap on the flag turns it over to the country's.
Smaller map pop-ups. On both maps the pop-up is frosted glass in the pin's colour, with a smaller button in the same colour and a small X in the corner. The role and type chips and the search bars are rounded rectangles that match the role icons.
My Account. Instructors, My appointments and My quiver are cards like the rest. My applications is now Roles & profiles, under View my public rider profile. On the Privacy tab, Find a rider sits between Edit account settings and Blocked members.
Account Settings. Less space around the rider card, a plainer Sign out card, and smaller Directions and Clock buttons.
Log a session. Each line of text sits above its own button, Fill in the form is orange, and the WhatsApp button is WhatsApp green with the WhatsApp mark.
Smaller changes. Session rows show the session type in its pin colour. Map, Website and WhatsApp fit in one row on business profiles. On My Sessions the folded-down list sits a little higher. Product Catalogue is now eFoil Products, and What the network sees is now Network Visibility.

1.1.7 fixes the iPhone maps, gives rider cards a flag you can turn over, and opens Venturi straight from EASI.
iPhone maps move every way again. In 1.1.6 the Sessions and Discover maps on iPhone would only scroll up and down. You can drag them sideways again.
Flags that turn over. A rider from a US state, a Canadian province or territory, an Australian state, England, Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland, a Mexican state, an emirate, or the Canaries, Balearics, Azores or Madeira shows that flag on their rider card. Tap it and it turns over to the country's flag. Puerto Rico, Guam and the other US territories turn over to the US flag. Sessions ridden in those places show the local flag, and your eFoil Passport still counts countries.
Venturi opens Venturi. Record with VENTURI opens the Venturi app when you have it installed, and its store page when you don't.
Log a Session. The two buttons now read Log it by voice-note and Record with VENTURI, and sit side by side on an iPad turned sideways.
Your rider card, at once. On My Account your card shows straight away, and a card-shaped placeholder holds its place the first time it loads.
Riders on a session. Tap a rider on a session to see their full rider card, and back takes you to the session, not the Dashboard. You can't leave instructor notes about yourself, so the notes boxes no longer show on your own row.
1.1.7 5d ago
1.1.6 makes My Sessions fast for big logbooks, rebuilds the business and instructor profiles, and finishes the new look.
My Sessions for big logbooks. Your sessions now load a page at a time, so the tab opens quickly even with hundreds or thousands of sessions logged. Filters, search and Show them in the list cover your whole logbook, and while it loads you see a spinner, never a "No sessions" message.
A smoother sessions sheet. The list slides up and down without stopping or snapping halfway, always shows its handle, and when you tap a session to see it on the map, your place in the list is kept for when you come back.
Profiles for schools, shops and pros. Every Operator, Instructor, Shop / Dealer, Repairer and Brand Team profile opens with its key facts in one band, then Map, Website or Instagram, and a WhatsApp button in WhatsApp green. Contact details read cleanly: Instagram as an @handle, websites without the https://, phone numbers spaced into groups, and the rows sit closer together.
Glossy buttons everywhere. The last plain buttons are now glossy: rounded pills for the main actions, and squarer buttons with the same shine inside cards and beside fields, like View session on the map.
Session Details. The Required details and Everything else titles sit inside their boxes, also on a session you can view but not edit, with its details grouped to match. A ride file you attach shows as a clear card.
My Applications. Each role starts with what it does: teach it, run it, sell it, service it, build it. Brand Partner is now called Brand Team, for people who work for an eFoil maker.
Courses opens faster, with a third as much to download.
Maps stop at the poles, so you can no longer scroll off the top or bottom of the world.
Smaller fixes: MESSAGE ME on a rider's card is WhatsApp green, the Set pin button sits level with its field, more room between the sections of a session rider's page, and pop-up buttons that match the rest of the app.
1.1.6 6d ago
1.1.5 is a new look for the whole app: water, glass and glossy buttons.
A new look. A soft water-blue glow behind every page, frosted glass cards in place of plain boxes, and long forms in a lighter frost so they stay easy to read.
Glossy buttons. The main buttons are now rounded pills with a soft glow: orange to log and to submit, navy to save and confirm, and the Venturi buttons in Venturi's own colours.
Courses. Each course page opens with its section, its own mark and chips for how it runs and how long it takes, then one card to join the waitlist. The Courses list shows how many riders are interested only where someone is.
Your rider card. The ID check badge sits on your Rider chip, the role chips are glossier, and Message me is a WhatsApp button.
Business profiles. Logos sit on the water, a business without a logo shows its role's artwork, and the role chip sits top right under the EASI seal. Your own edit pages now look like what other riders see.
Setting up your profile. The three setup steps start clear of the camera and notch, with the step in an orange chip, the EASI seal and a progress bar.
Discover and My Sessions. Cleaner lists in each role's colour, and My Sessions' list in the same style as Discover.
Smaller fixes: room around the text on your quiver items, and spacing and alignment fixes across the app.
1.1.5 Oct 21
1.0.9 brings your eFoil Passport, a fresh look, and a better fit on tablets.
Your eFoil Passport. Every country you have ridden in gets a stamp, with its flag, the spot and the date. It sits on your Dashboard and on your public profile.
Sessions to confirm. When a host logs you on a session, it now waits for you on your Dashboard and in My Account under Riding, so you can confirm it was you.
Import sessions. Bring a whole ride log in at once from a spreadsheet: download the template, pick your file, check the preview, then approve. It is in My Account under Riding, and you can remove an import later.
Pin a session by pasting a map link. Session Details has a new Map pin box under Location.
My Sessions. Pins close together group on the map, long logbooks open faster, and on short phones Log a session sits clear of the menu bar.
A fresh look. Frosted glass cards on your Dashboard and My Account, an orange card for your profile progress, the Dashboard glow behind your account pages, and the role applications redrawn with their own artwork.
For instructors and operators. My appointments and Instructors are clearer: the tier in bold, the status in words, and the buttons side by side. Appoint as instructor asks you to confirm the tier, and you can appoint yourself.
Invites. A sent invite now shows on the session, and Edit invite opens it filled in.
WhatsApp and Venturi. Contact links open WhatsApp itself, and every Venturi button opens Venturi's own link.
Tablets and iPad. My Sessions' map fills the screen, pages scroll and pull to refresh from anywhere on the screen, Courses sits in two even columns, the catalogue's brand and category rows run the full width, and operator logos show whole.
Smaller fixes: saving a quiver item takes you back to the new quantity, the ID check tells you when your date of birth needs fixing, business logos show in full in the Discover lists and on shop, repairer and brand profiles, each role's blank picture takes its colour, your public profile's recent sessions sit in a card, screen readers now name the Save and Back buttons, and spacing and alignment fixes across the app.
1.0.9 Oct 20
1.0.8 makes inviting a rider one tap, and tidies up your account.
Invite a rider. My Account has a new Invite a rider card: add their name and a number or email, and the invite opens in your own WhatsApp, or your email app if there is no number. You send it.
Hosts get the same thing on a session. A rider who is not on EASI yet now has one Invite to EASI button instead of a long form, and adding a walk-in opens it straight away with their name and number already in. If they already have an EASI account, the session links to it. An email on its own is enough.
Account Settings, rebuilt. Your rider card sits at the top. Your date of birth can be set until your ID check passes; after that, your name and date of birth come from the check and are locked. Signed in with Apple or Google? You can now add a password, so you can sign in with your email as well. Email and password sit together in one card.
Your Dashboard refreshes every time you open it, and while it loads it shows the outline of what is coming instead of empty numbers. Each setup step on your rider card now opens the screen that completes it.
Venturi. Logging a session now points you to Venturi for tracking your ride, and Edit Rider Profile has a Venturi switch.
Smaller fixes: the CLOCK and DIRECTIONS cards match the rest, and the Edit Rider Profile labels line up.
1.0.8 Oct 15
1.0.7 makes the app quicker, and adds two things you can use.
Check your own ID. My Account now has Check my ID: an optional identity check, run for us by Didit. Scan your document, take a selfie, and an "ID checked" tick appears on your profile, so an operator can see who you are before renting to you. It is never part of signing up, it is for riders aged 18 and over, and nothing else about your account changes if you skip it.
Change your email address. Account Settings has a new ACCOUNT EMAIL card, and it works even if you signed in with Google or Apple, including Apple's Hide My Email. We send a confirmation link to the new address and let the old one know.
The app opens faster. The lists behind the pickers are kept after their first load, and screens that used to fetch one thing after another now fetch them together, so the Dashboard, Sessions, Quiver and your profile come up noticeably quicker.
The Catalogue loads a page at a time, with a Show more button, instead of pulling everything at once.
Operator profiles are rebuilt around your logo: it fills its band properly, and every profile page now carries the same background as the Dashboard.
Required fields say so. Clearing a session title, location or duration, or a quiver quantity, now tells you, instead of quietly putting the old value back.
Deleting the setup you are editing clears the form. Opening a quiver item that has been removed takes you back to My Quiver with the reason on screen, instead of a page of dashes.
A role profile with nothing in it says so, instead of an empty card under its badge.
Pull to refresh now works on the empty space below a short list, not just on the list itself.
Tablets and wide screens: the Sessions board shows your real minutes, the map's filter chips clear the bottom bar, and the heading no longer sits under the top bar.
1.0.7 Oct 12
1.0.6 tidies every screen. We went over each one for size, spacing and the things riders kept bumping into.
Easier to tap. Buttons, chips, list rows, contact links and the bottom bar give your thumb a proper target, without making the screens any bigger than they need to be.
Your setup has a Battery slot. Pick your battery in Preferred Setup and it shows on your setup card, between Rear Wing and Remote.
Saving keeps you where you were. UPDATE SESSION, Save my setup and Save my details stay on the page with your changes in place, and a second save updates rather than making a copy.
Pull down to refresh works on 21 more screens.
Emptying a box now clears it. Delete a nickname, colour or condition note on your gear, or the notes on a session, and it stays deleted.
Pick your clock: Account Settings > CLOCK, automatic, 12-hour or 24-hour.
Instructors can show what they offer. Lessons, travel, online coaching and product knowledge appear on your profile when you switch them on.
The names match everywhere. Shops & Dealers, Repairers and Brand Partners on Discover say what their badges say.
Small phones get the whole screen. Nothing runs off the edge, even on the narrowest Android phones.
The app's fonts are built in, so text never waits on a download.
1.0.6 Oct 9
1.0.5 is mostly fixes, and every one of those came from riders using it. There is one new thing.
Show off your quiver. Switch MY WHOLE QUIVER on under Account > Privacy and your kit list appears on your rider profile - every board, mast, wing and remote, with its size. It is off until you turn it on, and it sits behind one tap, so nobody has to scroll past it.
Your public profile opens properly from Account. It used to hang on "Loading profile" and never arrive.
Tap a course in your Course Interest on the Dashboard and it opens that course. It used to name the course and lead nowhere.
Nothing hides behind the bottom bar any more. The Dashboard, My Account, rider profiles and the Discover panel all sit clear of it, so the last thing on a screen can actually be tapped.
Choosing your gear is easier:
- Board, Mast and wing menus show the size beside each item, so two of the same model are told apart
- A preferred setup keeps BOTH propulsion items, not just the first
- The list of session types is shorter, and Progress Outcome is now five plain choices instead of seven overlapping ones
If you are waiting on a parent or guardian's consent, that screen now names the address the request went to, and updates the moment you send it somewhere else.
1.0.5 Oct 4
Your sessions now sit on a map. Drag the panel up and down over it, tap a session and the map flies to where you rode it, or tap the info icon to open it.
The app has a new look. The bar across the top is glass, and the screen runs underneath it instead of stopping at it.
Also in this release:
- A much bigger sessions map, which now behaves exactly like the Discover map
- Search your sessions by spot, title, type or date without leaving the map
- Learn: tap any course to open its details, including how much of it is done in person
- Courses are colour-coded by their pathway, and you can filter by pathway
- Correct the date on a session you have already logged
- Your quiver is grouped by category, the way the catalogue already was
- Clearer labels on Log a Session
- Back buttons, spacing, and several screens that looked empty when they were not
- Fixed the sessions map zooming in far enough to make the app reload on some phones
- Fixed actions that could look like they had worked when they had not
1.0.4 Sep 28
Add and remove gear without leaving the catalogue. Tap a row to put something in your quiver, tap the tick to take it back out.
Courses and modules are now properly told apart. A course means time on the water with an operator who teaches you and signs you off. A module is EASI eLearning you do online, in your own time. Both are labelled on every row and explained on the page.
Also in this release:
- The catalogue loads faster and shows what you already own straight away
- A cleaner My Account and a slimmer bottom bar
- Steadier zooming on the Discover map
- The app now tells you when a new version is ready
- Fixed a crash that hit some rider profiles
- Fixed a problem that could blank a business profile when saving on a poor connection
1.0.3 Sep 27
iPad support - EASI now runs properly on iPad instead of as a stretched iPhone app.
Also in this update:
- The Learn section now says whether each item is a module or a course, and how much of it is done in person.
- Clearer rider, instructor and operator wording across profiles and forms.
- Role badges you can read at a glance, and a redesigned profile card.
- Fixed a crash on the account-restore screen.
1.0.2 Sep 25
iPad support - EASI now runs properly on iPad instead of as a stretched iPhone app.

- Fixed a crash on the account-restore screen.
1.0.1 Sep 24
1.2.0 rebuilds every school, shop, repair service, brand team and instructor profile, and puts a rider's profile in one scroll.
