Your dog's exact ration in grams, not the number on the bag. Log their weight and see if they're changing at a healthy pace.
How much should your dog eat today? Log their weight and Kanid answers in grams — worked out from their size, age, neutering and goal. Not from the average dog.
You also get their ideal weight range, the walks and routines that suit them today, and whether the pace they're changing at is healthy or too fast.
FREE, FOR ONE DOG
• Weight log with their ideal range
• Walks with the route drawn and the distance measured
• Routine catalogue: exercise, food, mind and care
• Twelve training techniques, step by step
• Achievements and streaks
• A home screen widget with what's due today
• Tips written with vets' guidance
WITH PREMIUM
• The exact ration, worked out from weight, age, neutering, activity and goal
• Food scanner: photograph the pack and we read the calories
• Ask Kanid: questions about YOUR dog, answered with their data
• Their health record: vaccines, treatments and vet visits, with a reminder before each one is due
• All your dogs, each with their own weight, plan and routines
• A four-week exercise plan that grows at their pace
• The weekly review: how much they lost, whether the pace is healthy, what to change
HOW THE RATION IS WORKED OUT
Resting energy from their reference weight, adjusted by life stage, neutering, activity and body condition. If there's a weight-loss goal, it's worked out on the target weight — not the current one, which would keep feeding the excess.
WHAT KANID IS NOT
Kanid is not a vet. It doesn't diagnose, doesn't recommend medicines and doesn't read wounds or lumps in photos. When something looks like a health problem, it says so and sends you to your vet.
Weight in kilos or pounds. Available in English, Spanish, German and Portuguese.

Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Fixed: while creating your account, Kanid no longer shows the family invite code screen. It now appears only if someone invited you to care for their dog.
Under the hood: better analytics so we can see which parts of Kanid help most, and where to improve next.
