Your agent asks. You just drop. Keydrop turns credential-saving commands into a friendly native popup. Connect it to your local MCP-compatible coding agent once. When a key needs saving, your agent supplies the Keychain destination and Keydrop opens a secure input field. Check the service and account names, type or paste your key, and save it in Apple Keychain. Your agent receives a completion status. The entered credential stays out of the MCP conversation. • Native secure entry on your Mac • Local MCP server included in the app • Apple Keychain storage with normal macOS access protections • Current clipboard cleared after successful paste • Explicit confirmation before replacing an existing item • No Keydrop account, database, analytics, or cloud credential service • A cheerful rainbow design that makes setup a little more fun Requires macOS 14 or later and a compatible local MCP client capable of launching a stdio server. Clipboard-history apps may retain earlier copies even after the current clipboard is cleared. Other tools may need macOS permission to access saved Keychain items.
