Version 1.1 adds new widgets, brings your planned route along for the ride and tidies up the trip view. WIDGETS • Track: today’s route as a line, with place, distance and duration • Day band: the day as a timeline, coloured by means of transport • Year ring: this year’s distance and trips as a ring • Drive: speed, elevation and transport of the current recording • Diary: the last few days, one below the other • Cockpit: photo, waypoint, pause, transport and stop right in the widget • On the Lock Screen: transport, distance, place and next stop • The two widgets from the first release are gone. If one of them is still on your Home Screen, press and hold it and remove it – the new ones are waiting PLANNED ROUTE ON THE ROAD • A route you planned in advance can be selected before you set off (planning happens on tripphoto.app) • While travelling, the app, Lock Screen and widget show the next stop with distance and estimated arrival • Stops you reach are ticked off automatically TRIP VIEW • Map, photos, days and story now sit on tabs • View photos full screen, swipe and zoom • Delete a trip by swiping in the list RECORDING • Start sheet: continue or start a new trip – asked once, asked clearly • Car detection: when your iPhone connects to CarPlay or your car’s hands-free system, recording can start by itself • Recorded points without a trip can be assigned later or discarded • Motorhome as its own type of trip SMALL THINGS • Calmer colours and a more legible typeface • The map follows the system’s light or dark appearance • Search your photo library for photos from a trip • Delete your account without a password, via a confirmation link • Title suggestions reliably name the region of the trip • Apple Watch: two buttons, to continue or to start a new trip
