Set your wake time and tell Soundrise what you like - genres, in the order you want them, or a playlist you already love. It builds you a fresh set from your own Apple Music library, sized to the length of morning you actually have.
When the alarm sounds, your soundtrack is there. One tap and you're going.
A REAL ALARM
Soundrise sets a real system alarm, not a workaround. It fires with the app closed. It overrides the silent switch. It takes over your lock screen the way the built-in Clock does. Not a notification you can sleep through. Not an app you have to leave open on your nightstand all night.
WHAT YOU GET
Your own music. Soundrise draws from your Apple Music library - the songs you already chose, not an algorithm's guess or a stock chime. Ready before you are. Your set is built in advance and waiting, so nothing has to load at 7am. Tap Shuffle whenever you want a new one. Fits your morning. Choose 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Gentle by design. Set your maximum volume and let the music fade in, so you come round rather than jolt awake.
Snooze that remembers. Pick up where the music left off instead of starting over. Genres in order. Ease in with something quiet and build to something louder - Soundrise moves through your genres the way you set them.
HONEST ABOUT HOW IT WORKS
Soundrise plays a reliable alarm tone, and you tap to start your playlist. That's deliberate. It means the alarm always works, even if music can't load - and it means you're never woken by silence because something failed in the background.
Don't set another alarm for the same minute as Soundrise. iOS can silence one of two alarms set for the same time. If you want a backup for the first few nights, set it a few minutes earlier than Soundrise.
WORKS WITH APPLE MUSIC
Soundrise plays from your Apple Music library. Music you own plays without a subscription. To play songs from Apple's catalogue, you'll need an active Apple Music subscription.
PRIVATE BY DEFAULT
Soundrise collects nothing. No analytics, no crash reporting, no account, no server. Your music and your settings stay on your device.
