Filament is a puzzle with one verb. Tap a lamp and it steps to the next colour — and so does every
lamp it is wired to.
You are working the two-lane at sundown in 1958. Every level is a roadside sign that has gone dark:
lamps punched through a motif — an arrow, a coffee cup, a ferris wheel — with the wiring painted
right there on the sheet. Tap a lamp and it and everything wired to it advance one step round the
cycle: dark, red, gold, cyan, dark again. Get every lamp on the sign burning the same colour and the
sign is alive.
