Running out of iPhone storage? Video Compressor helps you reduce the size of videos in your Photos library and recover space—without uploading your photo or video content to SwiftLee servers.
See your potential savings before changing anything. Choose the videos you want to compress, select the quality that works for you, and compare the real result before deciding what happens to the original.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan your library to see how much storage your videos use and what you could save
2. Pick one or more videos, or start with smart collections such as Recent, Long, Large, or 4K
3. Choose High Quality, Balanced, or Max Saving
4. Compare your original and compressed video side by side
5. Keep the original, or delete it only after you explicitly confirm
WHY VIDEO COMPRESSOR
• On-device HEVC compression helps reduce video size while preserving strong visual quality
• Estimated savings are shown before compression starts
• Compress multiple selected videos in one session
• Compare the actual result using your own video—not stock footage
• No account, no advertising, and no media uploads to SwiftLee servers
• iCloud originals are downloaded through Apple PhotoKit and processed one at a time with clear progress
• Your originals remain untouched until you choose otherwise
SIRI, SPOTLIGHT AND SHORTCUTS
• Ask Siri how much storage you could save, or how much you have already saved, without opening the app
• Start from Siri, Spotlight, or the Action Button to review your recent, large, long, or 4K videos for compression. The app opens on the review screen, so you stay in control
• Find the actions in the Shortcuts app and add them to your own automations
PRIVACY AND CONTROL
Scanning, analysis, and compression happen on your iPhone. If a video is stored in iCloud, Apple PhotoKit downloads it for local processing. Video Compressor never deletes an original automatically.

I have tons of videos and this app can make them smaller. Most of them I don’t need at full quality.

I have no idea how this works but I don’t notice any difference in the quality.
Fixed:
• Scrolling and updating a large video library is smoother; the grid no longer freezes for seconds while Duplicate Videos scans in the background.
• Video thumbnails that stayed blank after browsing a large library load again, including iCloud previews, and views you left no longer slow down the ones you're viewing.
• Duplicate Videos rows scroll all the way to the screen edge. Long Videos opens with the longest videos first, and Recent large videos lists only clips you recorded in the last 30 days.
• Deleted videos animate out of your library and the review screen instead of disappearing at once.
• Play, skip and volume controls stay below the navigation bar. Videos beyond the free limit no longer show a lock while selecting; Review explains the limit and shows how much Pro would save when none fit the free allowance.
New:
• The name under the app icon is now shorter (Compressor) so it no longer gets cut off on the Home Screen. You can still say "Video Compressor" to Siri.
• Biggest savings is now Your 20 largest videos: your largest clips by file size, without a date range on the row. Older 4K, Screen recordings, Slo-mo, Timelapse and Cinematic rows no longer show a date range either.
• Open in Photos at the bottom of video details opens the clip in Photos. After you delete several videos, a short celebration shows how much storage you freed.
• The first time you open Duplicate Videos, a tip explains you can tap any thumbnail to delete that video too.
• Choose email updates about new features from onboarding, Account > Email Updates, or About the Developer. Invite friends by email from Invite Friends (up to 10 a day).
• About the Developer in Account tells you who builds the app and makes it easy to leave a review or sign up for updates.
