Kumite Lab

Karate kumite scouting & stats

Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Tag every point and penalty, see each athlete's statistics and build reels of the best moments. Now in a new light look - try it. Kumite Lab turns every karate kumite bout into numbers you can use. Watch a video, pause, and tag what happened: points (yuko, waza-ari, ippon), penalties, techniques, limb, tatami zone, guard, distance and score. When you finish, Kumite Lab builds the statistics for each athlete across all their bouts. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Tag bouts from any video — your own files, YouTube or a direct link. -5s / +5s and speed buttons help you find the exact moment, and pinch to zoom into a part of the tatami. • Live scoreboard that follows the video, with penalties and Senshu rules built in. • Statistics per athlete: wins and losses, points scored and conceded, techniques with success rate, tatami-zone tendency, predominant guard, penalties. • Tap any number to see exactly which moments are behind it, and watch them as a reel. • Follow athletes and competitions, and keep every analysis organised by round and category. • Share an analysis with another coach by email. They can watch it and it counts in their statistics, but only you can edit it. • Work without signal: create analyses offline and sync them later. • Ippon team accounts can keep private team notes on each athlete. PREMIUM Ask the AI about an athlete, generate written scouting reports and unlock unlimited athletes. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage or cancel them in your Apple ID account settings. Made for coaches, athletes and clubs who want to prepare the next bout with real data.

A fresh look, plus new tools for coaches. • New name and look: KumetR is now Kumite Lab. Turn on the new light layout in Account > Kumite Lab look (beta); the classic dark look is still there. • Athlete notes for the Ippon team: a shared, private notes tab on each athlete. • Pinch to zoom into the video while tagging, even when maximized. In maximized mode the close and actions buttons stay at the top, and a tap hides all the buttons. • Tagging: the actions list is more compact, the scoreboard follows the moment of the video, and -5s / +5s are now exact on iPhone. • Analyses list shows the final score in large numbers, with the winner underneath. • Athlete detail redesigned: labels on the left, fields on the right, no date of birth. • Fixes: logging out on Mac, and the new "Match start in video" field now sits right below the video.
