Most fitness apps rank what is easy to count: steps, kilometers, pace. That leaves gym, barre or spinning worth almost nothing. Compety scores effort instead, straight from your heart rate: a demanding barre class can be worth more than an easy run.

BACKED BY SPORTS SCIENCE
The effort score is not a guess. It is built on published, peer-reviewed research: heart-rate training load models and the 2024 Compendium of Physical Activities, the university-led reference that measures the real energy cost of more than 1,000 activities.
FAIR BY DESIGN
Points are based on your own heart-rate zones, so beginners and veterans compete on effort, not fitness level.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Everything is computed on your iPhone. Only your score is uploaded, never your heart rate or your sleep.
