AnglerIQ: AI Co-Angler
AI Fish Spots, Maps & Forecast
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad
Fish smarter with AnglerIQ. Find the water, read the bite, and keep a log that remembers what actually worked. Maps, forecasts, species, access, and a guide that already knows the lake you are standing on.
FIND THE WATER
Search any lake, river, reservoir, or shoreline. Explore opens on what is near you: a Spot of the Day, the closest waters, what is popular nearby, and strong water in your state and across the country. Filter by the kind of water, the fish you want, and how you reach it, from the bank, a pier, or a boat ramp.
Open a spot and see which species are recorded there, how people get on it, and whether the bank is public or still unverified. If access is not confirmed, AnglerIQ says so before you launch.
SEE WHERE TO START
A zone scan ranks starting spots out in the lake you picked. It looks at structure, season, and that day's conditions, then pins points, creek mouths, breaks, docks, and banks worth a cast. A zone is a prediction about where fish may be. It is not a promise they are holding, and it does not mean the water is safe or legal to access.
READ THE BITE BEFORE YOU LEAVE
Weather, barometric trend, moon phase, and tide where the coast has them, rolled into one bite score on the water you are fishing. Coastal tides come from NOAA. Forecasts are estimates and can be stale. For storms and marine warnings, use the National Weather Service.
ASK A GUIDE WHO KNOWS THIS LAKE
Ask where to start, what to throw, or how the pressure is moving. The guide answers with this water and this season. Snap a photo when you are not sure what you caught. Bait suggestions are patterns, not a guarantee. A photo ID is a guess, and similar species get confused. Confirm the fish yourself before you keep it.
PLAN THE TRIP
Pick the dates and the species. AnglerIQ ranks waters across that window by the forecast bite, so the drive goes to the lake that looks on, not the one that was good last Saturday.
LOG THE CATCH
The camera walks you through the side, the top, the head, the lure, the water, and a scale photo. AnglerIQ reads the photo, places the catch on the water you were fishing, and saves the species, the size, and the conditions around it, so the next trip can start from what already worked.
KNOW THE RULES
Seasons, limits, and local rules are researched from public sources and summarized on the water. Summaries can be incomplete or out of date, and emergency closures often are not in them. Confirm with the state wildlife agency before you keep a fish.
COMMUNITY
See what is biting near you, and follow anglers whose posts you want in your feed. Regional tournaments and monthly leagues come with Pro, with no separate entry fee. Report and block are on every post.
YOUR SPOTS STAY YOURS
Exact coordinates on a logged catch stay private. A public or followers-only post shows the general area, never the pin. Save a water, or download it for when you will be out of service.
WHAT IS FREE
Explore, the map, nearby spots, bite forecasts, catch logging, and the AI guide work without a subscription.
ANGLERIQ PRO
Pro adds AI zone scans and in-lake maps, the trip planner, regional tournaments and monthly leagues, and offline water downloads.
AnglerIQ Pro (Monthly) is $9.99 per month. AnglerIQ Pro (Annual) is $59.99 per year. New subscribers get a 3-day free trial. Forecasts, zone rankings, bait suggestions, species identification, and regulation summaries are advisory estimates. They are not a guarantee you will catch fish, and they are not a substitute for official regulations or weather warnings.
Lake shorelines follow the whole water, including lakes split by a road or fairway, and bite zones cover every part of that lake. You can log a catch from one side of the fish. Few bug fixes for the explore cards not showing as well.
