MedScore - Clinical Calculator
Scores, TNM & Classifications
Free · In‑App Purchases · Designed for iPad
166 clinical scores, classifications and TNM staging tools — each with its source and a clear explanation. Works offline, no account, in English, German and Arabic.
MedScore is a local-first clinical calculator built for healthcare professionals and students who need the right score, calculated correctly, and explained clearly — in English, Arabic, or German.
MedScore is an educational and reference tool. It does not provide a diagnosis or treatment, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice — always consult a qualified doctor or other healthcare professional before making any medical decision.
The core loop: search → calculate → understand ("Why?") → verify (Evidence). Every result shows the score, a plain-language breakdown of how it was reached, a mode-aware interpretation (physician or patient), the cited source, and a standing medical disclaimer.
WHO IT'S FOR
Clinicians at the bedside, in clinic, or on call. Medical, nursing, and dental students. Anyone who needs a fast, trustworthy score without a data connection or a login.
WHY THE NUMBERS ARE TRUSTWORTHY
- Every score is a fixed, published formula or point system — implemented as a pure function. No AI, no heuristics, no server calls.
- Every calculator has unit tests covering normal, minimum, maximum, and every threshold.
- Every calculator ships with a verified citation from a peer-reviewed paper or guideline, shown in-app.
- MedScore never diagnoses, recommends treatment, or doses medication. Interpretations defer to your local pathway or current guideline.
- Cancer-staging tools show the staging system, version, and a note to confirm against the primary manual.
KEY FEATURES
- 166 calculators across 17 body-system categories, including Pediatrics, plus condition-based search
- Unit converter for lab values and measurements (conventional US ↔ SI)
- Per-input unit switching — metric/SI ↔ US-conventional, independently per value
- Light, dark, and system theme
- Full Arabic RTL support
- First-run Physician/Patient mode, reshaping interpretation text
- Share a result as text, as an image card, or as a one-page PDF
FREE AND PRO
Every calculator is free — 5 completed calculations a day, no account, no paywalled content. MedScore Pro is a one-time purchase (no subscription) that removes the daily limit and adds favourites and a history of your last 20 calculations. If you hit the limit mid-shift, "this is an emergency — continue now" grants free access for the rest of that day — up to 3 times, so you have a safety net while you decide whether Pro is worth it.
YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS
No accounts. No patient-data storage. No backend. Everything runs entirely offline, on your device.
IMPORTANT
MedScore is a reference and educational tool. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or medication dosing, and is not a substitute for clinical judgment or a doctor's advice. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare professional before making any medical decision, and verify results against current clinical guidelines.
