Prayer — Verse Reminders
A verse at the time you pick
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Prayer reminds you to pray, at the times you choose, with a Bible verse to meditate on.
You set the interval and the time range — every hour from 7am to 10pm, for instance. Reminders fall on round hours and arrive even when the app is closed or the phone is locked.
• 4,480 verses across 14 prayer topics: peace, strength, healing, forgiveness, gratitude, protection, wisdom, family, work, hope, faith, love, resisting temptation, and a general theme on prayer itself.
• 8 translations to choose from, including two French Catholic ones — the néo-Crampon and Glaire & Vigouroux — plus King James Version, World English Bible, American Standard Version, Louis Segond 1910, Darby and Martin 1744.
• Interface in English and French.
• A personal intention, shown with every reminder.
• Works fully offline.
No ads, no account, no data collection. The app never contacts a server.
Ratings & Reviews
- This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
• Favourites: the heart under a verse keeps it, found again from the icon at the top of the screen.
• Share: send a verse by message or email in one tap.
• “Today” screen: every verse already sent today, at a glance.
• Home Screen widget: the current verse without opening the app; in the large size, today's history.
• 60 verses per topic instead of 40: 280 new verses added, checked one by one across all 8 translations.
• No more verses on repeat: a topic won't reuse a verse until every other one has been shown.
• Several prayer topics at once, verse kept when switching Bible.
