New: log a catch in seconds, then see what's worked in conditions like these. Works fully offline — no signal needed on the water.
Cast Log is a fishing journal for freshwater anglers who
want to remember what worked — and why.
Log a catch in seconds: species, length, weight, the lure
you were throwing and its colour, how you were fishing,
depth, and water clarity. Add photos of the fish and of
the lure itself. Weather is captured for you — sky, air
temperature, wind strength and direction — so you don't
have to think about it while your hands are wet.
WHAT'S WORKED IN CONDITIONS LIKE THESE
The part that pays you back. Pick a species and roughly
what today looks like, and Cast Log shows what has caught
fish the last few times conditions looked similar, and on
what. It ranks by how closely each catch matches rather
than demanding an exact match, so you get a useful answer
from a realistic number of logged trips instead of an
empty list.
YOUR SPOTS
Drop a pin on the map or use your current location. Your
spots stay on your phone. They are never uploaded, never
shared, and never sold.
Add your own depth charts as images, attached to the water
body they belong to, with a note on where you got them.
SEASON AT A GLANCE
A home screen that shows your season so far, your personal
bests, and your last trip. Charts and stats when you want
to go deeper.
BUILT FOR NO SIGNAL
Every feature that matters works offline. There is no
account, no sign-in, and nothing to set up. Open the app
and log a fish.
Export your entire log to CSV whenever you like. It's your
log — you should be able to take it with you.
Cast Log is free with ads. A single one-time purchase
removes ads and unlocks everything. No subscription, ever.
