SLAB shields the apps that eat your time until you tap your iPhone on a physical NFC tag. Pick the apps, categories, or websites. Tap Block. They are shut behind Apple's Screen Time shield, at system level, even when SLAB is closed, even after a restart. The only way back in is scanning the tag you paired. Leave it in another room and the apps stay shut. Distance is the feature. PRESETS Keep more than one block list. Work, Sleep, Deep focus. Switch before you block. TAP TO BLOCK Add the Block action to a Shortcuts NFC automation and a single tap on your tag shields everything. Unlocking always happens in the app, where the tag is verified. FIVE EMERGENCY UNLOCKS For life. The counter never resets. The slab is the intended way out. WIDGET AND LOCK SCREEN See blocked or open at a glance, with a running timer and your weekly total. NOTHING LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no analytics, no network. SLAB never learns which apps you chose; Apple hands it opaque tokens only. Any NFC tag works: a sticker, a transit card, a hotel key. Requires an iPhone with NFC tag reading and iOS 17 or later.

Say what the session is for and set a target. See it on the lock screen and Dynamic Island while blocked. A Sunday report with your week, a streak on the app icon, and a card to share. Friends: swap codes and see whether each other is blocked or open, off by default. The button is now called Block.
