Rule 500 years as 27 kings

$3.99

Your child isn't quizzed on Joseon — they rule it. Decide events recorded in the royal annals, then the court historian shows what really happened. No ads, no purchases. ``` Your child does not memorize history here. They govern. ■ BECOME THE KING OF JOSEON Rule five hundred years as 27 kings, from Taejo who founded the dynasty in 1392 to Sunjong, its last emperor. Name the new country. Choose where the capital will stand. Decide whether the new letters a king invented should be given to every commoner, over the objections of his own court. Every one of these events is drawn from the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, the day-by-day record its court historians kept for five centuries. ■ THEN THE HISTORIAN COMES After you choose, the court historian takes up his brush: "In the actual annals, it is written thus." Match what really happened and you earn a fragment of the record. Choose differently and you see the Joseon that might have been. History is never a gate your child has to pass. It is the reward for playing. ■ A COUNTRY THAT CARRIES OVER Four measures — People, Treasury, Defense, Culture — pass to the next king exactly as you leave them. A prosperous people pay taxes; a change of rulers scatters some of what the last reign built. Your child watches one king inherit another king's ruin, and feels why history connects, without being told. ■ WHAT REMAINS At the end of 27 reigns, every decision your child made has been written down in the historian's voice — their own volume of annals, which they can save as a picture. ■ WHAT IS INSIDE · 27 kings, Taejo through Sunjong · 97 events, every one from the historical record · 73 figures to collect — Jang Yeong-sil, Yi Sun-sin, Heo Jun, Jeong Yak-yong and more · 97 record fragments · 166 word explanations, written for a nine-year-old · Read-aloud, for children still working on longer text · Korean and English ■ FOR PARENTS · No ads · No in-app purchases · No account, no sign-up · Works entirely offline · Collects no personal data whatsoever · No game over — your child can choose freely without fear of failing Written for ages 8 to 12. ■ ON THE HISTORY Every sentence is newly written from the factual record.
