An enormous, extremely round, extremely pleased-with-himself cartoon politician has got himself wedged sideways in a shipping channel. The cargo ships are queuing. Somebody has to move him.
That somebody is you, and your only tool is shoving.

HOW IT WORKS
Tap the left of him to shove him right. Tap the right to shove him left. Shove in time with the way he is already rocking and you build a combo: GOOD, GREAT, PERFECT, TREMENDOUS. Mash randomly and you will fight your own momentum and get nowhere.
THE PROBLEM IS HIS EGO
Every few seconds he announces how tremendous he is, and the compliment floats off as a speech bubble. Then it turns around and comes back to him.
If it reaches him, he believes it. He inflates. He gets rounder, heavier, and more thoroughly wedged.
If you pop it first, he deflates a little and becomes easier to move.
So every moment is the same small decision: shove him, or pop his ego. You cannot do both.
THE PAYOFF
Get enough momentum and he does not simply come loose. He pops out of the channel and skips across the open water like an enormous beach ball, still talking, while you watch the distance counter climb.
That number is the whole game. Beat it.
THE BLOWHARD PACK (OPTIONAL)
The whole game is free. If you want more, one optional purchase adds three more blowhards, each stuck in his own channel with his own twist:
- The Windbag, in the Fog Channel. Twice the bubbles, half the ego each. Pop fast.
- The Tycoon, at the Marina. Harder to budge, but he launches half as far again.
- The Mayor, in the Night Canal. His promises come home fast, and popping one hits hard.
One purchase, yours for good. If you bought Clear the Strait when it was a paid app, the pack is already yours.
WHAT IS NOT IN HERE
No accounts. No sign-up. No adverts. No subscription. No internet connection required. Nothing is collected about you.
A NOTE ON THE SATIRE
These are original cartoon caricatures of generic types (the self-important public figure, the windbag, the tycoon, the small-town mayor) in made-up places, doing nothing worse than floating. No real person is portrayed or named, no real country, location, conflict, organisation or event appears, and nothing anyone has actually said is quoted. Nobody is harmed: you are rolling a cartoon ball out of the way.
