Your computer's music, in your hand. RemoTune turns your iPhone or iPad into a remote for media playback and system volume on your Windows PC or Mac.
Get the required RemoTune desktop companion at https://remotune.app. Keep your computer and iPhone or iPad on the same local network. No RemoTune account is needed for local remote control.
CONTROL FROM ACROSS THE ROOM
• Play or pause the active media on your computer.
• Skip to the next or previous track and seek when the player supports it.
• Adjust your computer's system volume or mute it using on-screen controls.
• See track titles, artists, album artwork and playback progress when available.
CONNECT YOUR WAY
• Find nearby computers automatically on your local network.
• Scan the QR code shown by the desktop companion, or enter its address.
• Approve the first connection on your computer.
• Remember up to five computers and reconnect without repeating approval.
GET STARTED
1. Download and open RemoTune for Windows or Mac: https://remotune.app
2. Connect both devices to the same local network and allow Local Network access on your iPhone or iPad.
3. Select your computer in RemoTune, approve the connection on the computer, and start controlling playback.
REQUIREMENTS AND LIMITS
The desktop companion must stay running. Available controls and media details depend on the active desktop player or browser. Some Mac audio outputs do not support software volume adjustment.
RemoTune controls playback on your computer; it does not stream audio to your phone, download music or provide a music library. Remote control over the internet is not supported. On iPhone and iPad, use the on-screen volume controls; physical volume buttons still control the device itself.
