Fly a paraglider over the French Alps, the Puy de Dôme and the dune du Pilat, on the real terrain and real satellite imagery of those places.
ParaSim is free: the Col de la Forclaz above Lake Annecy and the whole school, with no limit. One single purchase, "All of France", opens the nine other sites, free take-off anywhere in France on the map, and their challenges; it restores on all your devices with your Apple account. No subscription, no ads.
Two ways to play, chosen on the home screen. In arcade all the gear is open at once: the wings, the instruments, the challenges — and a guided two-minute first flight if you have never flown, a voice shows you the brakes, takes you into a thermal and talks you down. In career you learn the way you learn: school first, then the instruments you earn there, and the speed bar, the seat board, the pod and the wings you buy with the credits from flights and challenges.
Then the school: six lessons talked down over the radio by an instructor, from inflating the wing to throwing the reserve. You learn to bring the wing up, to check it, to hold a heading, to fly a circuit, to core a thermal. Then four advanced lessons — centring a climb, gliding between them, right of way in the air, sharing the dune with other pilots — and four handling exercises.
After that the sky opens: ten French sites, real hourly weather or preset days, the site triangle to close, eight timed challenges, and up to eight pilots in the same sky.
The wing flies like one: brakes, weight shift, speed bar, big ears, rear risers. It stalls, it collapses, it spirals, and it is up to you to bring it back. Every incident is explained: what it is, why it happened, how you get out of it.

ParaSim is a game. It is not a flight-planning tool, it is not a flying aid, and it will not teach you to fly: you learn paragliding at a school, with an instructor. The game says so on first launch, and a whole page explains what it simplifies compared with a real flight.
