Eluna Garage is a car maintenance log built around one screen: what is left, not what it cost. Every part is a tile with a distance and a date on it, closest at the top, red before yellow before green. No account, no server, nothing to subscribe to — your history is a database on your own iPhone.
IT ALREADY KNOWS THE INTERVALS
A catalogue of 36 parts comes with the app — oil, filters, brake fluid, timing belt, spark plugs, coolant — each with a normal interval in distance and months. Turn on what your car has, change any interval you disagree with.
THE FIRST DAY IS NOT AN EMPTY SCREEN
Most logs stay empty until your first oil change. This one asks three questions per part — recently, long ago, or you have no idea — and builds the board from your answers on the first evening.
A guess is drawn as a guess: dashed outline, a "~". What nobody knows says "no data" rather than showing a number. The app never invents a figure to make a screen look complete.
ONE VISIT, ONE RECORD
A garage hands you one invoice with six lines, so the app takes one record: date, odometer, total, tick what was done, photograph the invoice. Six jobs closed in about ten taps, and every tile they touch turns green.
Photograph the odometer while you are there — a dated chain of photos is worth something the day you sell.
THE SCREEN YOU SHOW THE MECHANIC
"Going to a garage" lays out three blocks in large type — due, soon, and done recently — with dates and mileage. Hand the phone over, or share it as plain text. It reports what your records say and stops there — it never claims a job is unnecessary. It has not seen your car.
FUEL, MONEY AND HONEST NUMBERS
Fill-ups take three fields and record your mileage for you. Consumption is worked out from full tank to full tank, the only exact way; anything approximate is labelled so. Cost per mile, spending by category, insurance, tax, parking, fines. Where there is nothing to calculate from, the app gives the reason, not a dash.
PAPERWORK WITH A DEADLINE
Insurance, the roadworthiness test, road tax, the driving licence: the usual intervals for your country are already filled in — all 198 of them — renewal is one action, and the reminder comes twice: at the notice you choose and the evening before.
Reminders stay quiet: at most one a week, glued into a single line when several parts fall due together. No streaks, no guilt, no "you have not opened the app in a while".
WHEN YOU SELL THE CAR
The report is a PDF built on the phone: work carried out, odometer history, photographs — VIN and amounts left out unless you switch them on. It says on its face that the owner entered the records and the app does not verify them.
The history also hands over as a file: on the buyer's phone it adds a vehicle, never overwrites one.
YOUR RECORDS STAY YOURS
Export is free and in version one: a ZIP with every record and photo, or CSV for a spreadsheet. Import a backup, or the export file of the fuel log you are leaving.
The cloud vault is optional and off until you switch it on: an encrypted copy in your own iCloud, locked with a password we never see and cannot reset.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No ads, no subscription, no locked features — the optional tip unlocks nothing, because nothing is locked. No account, no server of ours, no location, no OBD adapter, no AI guessing what is wrong with your car. Nothing about the car leaves the phone unless you turn the vault on yourself.
