Samurai Zen is a quiet meditation app: guided practices, timed breathwork and
slow sleep stories, narrated at a deliberately unhurried pace and set against
sumi-e ink paintings.

YOUR PROGRESS
Minutes, sessions and an honest streak. Five gates mark the path from a first
sit to a settled habit. Nothing is inflated — the numbers only ever reflect
what you actually practised.
PRIVACY, PLAINLY
You can use the entire app without an account. Do that and nothing leaves your
phone. Sign in only if you want your practice to follow you to another device.
No analytics, no advertising, no tracking of any kind.
THE IDEAS BEHIND IT
The scripts draw on zanshin, the awareness that remains after an action is
finished; mushin, a mind that lets thoughts pass without following them; and
fudoshin, steadiness that is not rigid. You do not need to know any of this to
use the app — sit down, press play, and breathe.
