Agent Remote turns your iPhone into another interface for the coding agents already running on your Mac. Start a new Claude Code or Codex session from your phone, leave the first task running, read replies and tool activity, send follow-ups, answer clarification questions, and interrupt or end work — all from anywhere. WORK RUNS ON YOUR MAC Agent processes, project files, saved history, and your provider accounts stay on your Mac. The phone is a remote control, not a second copy of your environment. Use your local projects, configured tools, and connected accounts exactly as you do at your desk. MANAGE SESSIONS IN PARALLEL • Create Claude or Codex sessions with your preferred model and effort • Search sessions across every paired Mac • Read Markdown replies, code, tables, and inline images • Answer agent questions, permission prompts and folder-trust prompts with a tap • Interrupt, end, resume, or delete sessions • Continue a shared Terminal session from your phone, then keep typing on the Mac CONTEXT THAT IS NEVER LOST In the background, a team of agents on your Mac turns your conversations into a local wiki with cited sources: a steward keeps each article current, curators reorganize subjects, a librarian finds duplicates, and a verifier checks claims against your files. Every new session searches it, so you stop re-explaining your project. Browse and correct it from the Knowledge tab. The wiki is stored on your Mac; its editing uses your Claude or Codex account. VOICE, FILES, AND NOTIFICATIONS Dictate a prompt, attach photos or files, export artifacts through the share sheet, and get alerted when a reply completes. BUILT FOR PRIVACY Pair by scanning a single-use QR code on your Mac. Devices derive a shared key with X25519 and HKDF; every request, reply, and file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it reaches the relay. The relay routes ciphertext only — it never sees your conversations, files, or provider credentials. Revoke any phone at any time from the Mac. Agent Remote is free and open source (MIT). REQUIREMENTS • A Mac running the free Agent Remote Mac app (macOS 13.5 or later) • A Claude Code or Codex account signed in on that Mac; provider usage and billing stay with your provider • The Mac must be awake, online, and running Agent Remote for remote access A paired phone can direct agents with broad access to your Mac. Pair only devices you trust.
