Ashen Province is a persistent multiplayer survival game set in a haunted samurai province. Explore a shared world, gather supplies, reinforce shelters, and cooperate or fight with nearby travelers. Oni are computer-controlled enemies; nearby travelers are real players. A COMPACT GAME BOARD Your map, location, health, action points, and level stay on one screen. Switch between actions, inventory, talents, nearby travelers, and your journal. Lists use page controls. BUILD YOUR TRAVELER Choose from seven classes: Ronin, Shrinekeeper, Scout, Shinobi, Sohei, Onmyoji, and Artisan. Reach level 3 to choose one of fourteen permanent subclasses. Gain levels up to 30 and spend talent points across three connected branches containing 27 talents. SUPPLIES THAT MATTER Find eighteen kinds of items, including katanas, spears, bows, arrows, armor, prayer beads, medicine, smoke bombs, and sharpening stones. Equip weapons, manage ammunition, and craft using eight recipes at forges and shrines. A WORLD THAT PERSISTS Explore 225 locations, fortify shared shelters, heal or revive other travelers, and rekindle shrine flames together. Fall and return as a revenant, then seek restoration at a shrine. Progress and possessions persist between visits. PLAY ON IPHONE OR BROWSER Save your private recovery key and use it to continue the same traveler on another device or in the browser. No email address is required. An internet connection is required. TEN LANGUAGES English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, and Arabic. Change language inside the game. FAIR ACTION ECONOMY Start with 50 action points and recover one every 30 minutes. There are no paid action refills or combat boosts. The iPhone app is free with consent-gated journal banner ads. An optional one-time $4.99 USD purchase removes iPhone ads permanently; local prices are shown by the App Store. Browser play is free.
