THE FOUR PAPERS, AT EXAM LENGTH
• Listening — four sections, 40 questions, one play. Note and form completion, multiple choice, matching, plan and map labelling.
• Reading — three passages, 40 questions, 60 minutes. Matching headings, True/False/Not Given, Yes/No/Not Given, summary and sentence completion. General Training has its own texts and scoring table.
• Writing — Task 1 charts, tables, processes and maps (letters in General Training), Task 2 essays, on a timed editor with spell-check off, like the test centre.
• Speaking — a three-part interview with an AI examiner: Part 1 questions, the Part 2 cue card with a minute to prepare, Part 3 follow-ups that build on what you said.
A SCORE YOU CAN TRUST
• Every scored test uses material you have not seen. Practice and tests never share questions, so the number is not inflated by what you just drilled.
• A band always comes with its range. If there is not enough to judge, Lexicon says so instead of guessing.
• Per-criterion bands for Writing and Speaking: Task Achievement, Coherence, Lexical Resource, Grammar and Fluency.
• Feedback tied to your own words: a heatmap over your transcript and every examiner note linked to the sentence it is about.

• Speaking is recorded and transcribed on your iPhone. No account; your sessions, plan and progress stay on the device.
