Created by a father for his daughter, Sofio is a gentle discovery game where children explore illustrated worlds and hear someone they know. Record names, little facts and playful clues in your own words, then let your child discover them with a tap.
TWO SIMPLE WAYS TO PLAY
EXPLORE: Tap an animal or vehicle to hear your recording and watch its playful response.
FIND IT!: Your child listens to your recorded clue and taps the matching item. A correct answer replays your EXPLORE recording, helping connect the picture with its name. Gentle hints encourage another try.
A FAMILIAR VOICE, IN YOUR OWN WORDS
Record in the language your family uses. Keep it simple with a name, add a short fact, or make a clue about something your child can see. Suggested phrases help you get started. Add recordings at your own pace and replace them whenever you like.
WORLDS TO DISCOVER
Farm Animals and Vehicles are included. Optional one-time in-app purchases unlock Dinosaurs, Aquatic Animals, House Animals, Wild Animals and Insects. Each world contains eight subjects, with friendly artwork, gentle background movement and individual reactions.
CALM PLAY, PARENT CONTROLS
No scores, countdowns or harsh wrong-answer feedback. Parents choose the play mode, manage recordings, control background music and access purchases through a grown-up check, with an optional parent PIN.
RECORDINGS STAY WITH YOUR FAMILY
Your voice recordings are stored on your device. Sofio does not upload them to the developer. Device backups may include app data. You can delete individual recordings or all recordings from the parent area.
No advertising, child accounts or social sharing. No subscription is required.
Sofio uses recordings you create; a grown-up needs to add names and clues for the personalized voice experience. Microphone permission is requested when you choose to record.
