bug fixes, better tutorial Shingoki is a loop puzzle on a grid of dots. Draw exactly one closed loop that passes through every circle – not two, not one with a loose end. One. THE COMPLETE RULES, IN FOUR LINES • White circle: the loop goes straight through. • Black circle: the loop turns. • The number is the sum of the two straight arms, each up to the next turn. • Every dot carries either no lines or exactly two. That is all there is to learn. The depth comes from how the rules interact, not from special cases – and the tutorial takes two minutes. ONE PUZZLE A DAY Every calendar day brings one daily puzzle, and it is the same one for everyone in the world. One attempt. The clock starts with your first line, not when you open it – so you can study the clues first. Solve every day and you build a streak. One missed day per month is bridged, so a bad day does not cost you weeks. YOUR TIME IS THE SCORE No points, no levels, no progress bar. Only how fast the loop closes. Four leaderboards – day, streak, week and month – each with your own calendar above it. UNLIMITED PRACTICE Three sizes: 5×5 to warm up, 7×7 as the standard, 9×9 for a long evening. Every puzzle is generated fresh and is guaranteed to have exactly one solution – never a guess, always deducible. Each one has a code you can pass on, so someone else gets the very same board. FAIR ABOUT MISTAKES A mistake is reported as soon as it is logically certain – and never before. An unfinished path is not a mistake; an arm that is still too short is not a mistake. Prefer to work without feedback? Turn it off and check whenever you like. For your own bookkeeping: a tap marks an edge as ruled out without drawing a line. BUILT LIKE A PENCIL PUZZLE Quiet paper, clear ink, no effects. Drag to draw a whole row, tap to toggle a single edge. Undo takes back one movement, not twenty separate steps. Dark mode, VoiceOver, Dynamic Type. German and English. NO ACCOUNT No sign-up, no email address, no password. For the leaderboard the app picks a name for you, which you can change. Playable offline; a result is submitted as soon as you are back online. Shingoki is free and shows ads: one after you solve the daily puzzle, one every few puzzles in practice, and a hint costs a short video. Don't want the ads? Remove them with a one-time purchase – the hints stay.
