LilMirror
Check yourself before calls
Only for Mac
Free
Mac
Your camera, one click away.
See yourself before every meeting, right where the camera is, then get back to work.
LilMirror is a mirror that lives in your menu bar.
Click the icon and a small live camera preview opens right underneath, with a
compliment below it. Check your hair, check your lighting, close it, join the
call. No app to launch, no window to find, no Photo Booth detour.
Click anywhere else or press Escape and it closes — and the camera stops. The
green light next to your camera goes out every time, because the capture
session is shut down rather than left running in the background.
ONE CLICK
The icon sits in your menu bar and does exactly one thing. No Dock icon, no
window, no notifications.
153 COMPLIMENTS
A different line every time you open it, shuffled so you never get the same one
twice in a row. "Certified work of art." "The good angle found you." "Best face
in the meeting." Switch them off if you'd rather just have a mirror.
MIRRORED PROPERLY
Raise your right hand and it goes up on the right, the way a mirror works.
ANY CAMERA YOU OWN
Built-in, USB webcam, or your iPhone over Continuity Camera. Plug one in and it
appears in the picker.
NOTHING LEAVES YOUR MAC
No recording. No saving. No network access at all — the app ships without the
network entitlement, so macOS itself enforces that it can't send anything
anywhere. No account, no analytics, no ads.
EVERYTHING INCLUDED
Every feature, no locked tier. No subscription, no in-app purchases, nothing
held back for a Pro version.
Requires macOS 13 or later. Apple silicon and Intel.
