Tap where the kick was taken. The distance and the angle between the posts are worked out for you, and the success rate appears by zone. Rugby Shot records where a goal kick was taken from, not only whether it went over. Tap the spot on the pitch. The distance to the posts and the angle they subtend from that spot are computed for you, and the outcome goes in with one more tap: good, right, left or short. Two taps per kick, so recording keeps up with the kicker. The map then answers what a tally cannot. Which positions does this kicker convert, which ones do they miss, and in which direction. WHAT YOU GET - A pitch heatmap of success rate by zone, divided by angle band and distance band. - Strongest and weakest zone per kicker, with a minimum-attempts threshold so three from three does not top the table. - Drift, shown as a percentage: whether misses tend to the right or the left. - Best kicker per zone across a squad, for deciding who takes the shot from where. - Filters by period, match or practice, group, kicking foot, height, age and position. Group and age are evaluated as they stood on the day of the kick, so last season's squad still reports correctly. - A PDF report with the heatmap and per-player tables, plus CSV of every kick. RECORDING IS NEVER LOCKED Logging kicks stays available whether or not you subscribe. Analysis, filters, reports and sharing are what the subscription covers. SESSIONS CARRY THEIR OWN CONTEXT Date, place, temperature and weather fill themselves in when a session starts. Wind is yours to type, because the wind on the pitch is not the wind at the weather station. FIVE CODES Rugby union, rugby league, Australian football, American football and Gaelic football. Pitch dimensions and post width come per code and can be edited. TWO PHONES, ONE SESSION Share players and sessions between devices by QR code, with no account and no network. Kicks merge by last edit, and a name that appears twice asks before it becomes one person. Free trial: every feature is free for 30 days after you install the app. After that, recording kicks stays free; analysis, filters, reports and sharing need an auto-renewing monthly or yearly subscription. Fixed a crash when closing the paste dialog while sharing records. A failed QR import now shows a clear message instead of a technical error, and other error messages are now plain text too. Tap an icon to see what it does. Tapping outside a field or scrolling closes the keyboard. Subscription screen: a Retry button when plans can't load, readable colors in dark appearance, and Restore Purchases always shows the result. Purchase messages now say "Apple Account". PDF reports have bold headings again, and the weather source (MET Norway) is now shown. Practice locations are now named by town and district. At the largest text size, the kick recording screen, analysis, sheets, dialogs and prices now fit on screen, and the analysis filters stay at the top. On the QR scan tab, a camera problem now shows a plain message instead of a technical error, and at the largest text size the lower part of the tab no longer runs off the screen. The appearance choice is now shown as icons. Tap one for a hint; VoiceOver reads it aloud.
