Capture your screen, a selected area, an app window, multiple displays, your camera, or audio. Then refine your recording with smooth zooms and simple cuts before exporting. RECORD THE WAY YOU WORK • Screen: Capture an entire display. • Multi Screen: Record multiple displays at once. Each display gets its own video and editing tab. • Area: Select the exact part of the screen you want to record. • Window: Capture one application window. • Camera: Record from a built-in, USB, or compatible iPhone camera with a live preview. • Audio: Record system sound, your microphone, or both. ZOOM IN ON WHAT MATTERS Guide viewers to important details with click-based or manual zooms. In the editor, place zooms on a timeline, drag them to adjust their timing and length, and fine-tune magnification, focal point, and zoom-in and zoom-out speed. Smooth transitions give viewers time to see the full screen before moving into a close-up. EDIT BEFORE YOU EXPORT Review your recording in the built-in editor. Trim the beginning or end, cut out unwanted sections in the middle, split clips, and join the parts you keep. Preview the result, mute or unmute playback, then export the finished video. Save your project and reopen it later to change cuts or zooms and export again. The Projects list lets you manage recordings and delete projects or exported files you no longer need. WEBCAM OVERLAY Add your webcam to screen, area, window, or multi-screen recordings. Choose a square, rounded square, circle, or rectangular frame; set its size, border, and mirror mode; and drag it into position. Preview its shape before recording and toggle the webcam while recording. SIMPLE LIVE CONTROLS After the countdown, GoREC hides its main window and shows a compact floating controller. Check elapsed time, pause or resume, toggle your webcam, mute or unmute microphone and system audio, and stop recording. The controller can be collapsed and is excluded from screen capture. QUALITY AND AUDIO OPTIONS Choose 1080p, 4K, or native resolution; 30 or 60 FPS; H.264 or HEVC; and MP4 or MOV. Show or hide the cursor, add a subtle cursor outline, and show click ripples. For audio-only recordings, export M4A (AAC) or WAV (PCM). GOREC PRO The free version includes screen, area, window, camera, and audio recording at up to 1080p, 30 FPS, and H.264. GoREC Pro unlocks Multi Screen recording, 4K and native resolution, 60 FPS, HEVC, and zoom recording and editing tools. Choose a monthly or yearly auto-renewable subscription, or make a one-time lifetime purchase. A subscription is not required if you choose lifetime access. Restore purchases with the same Apple ID. LOCAL AND PRIVATE Recordings and editable projects stay on your Mac. GoREC requires no account and does not upload your recordings to a server. You choose where exported files are saved. Camera, microphone, and screen access are requested only when needed for the features you use.
