Listening in CarPlay is now part of Prosody Plus. • Without Prosody Plus, a book playing on your iPhone pauses when CarPlay connects and stays paused while CarPlay is connected. The car screen and your iPhone say why. • With Prosody Plus, CarPlay works as before. • Away from the car nothing changes: Siri, the widget and the lock screen play without a subscription.

This update fixes bugs and tightens security. Playback: • After a dropped connection, one tap on Play starts the book again • The end of chapter sleep timer stops exactly at the chapter's end • A slow server no longer freezes the player or mutes it after a skip • Playing from the widget or the lock screen works even when Prosody was closed, and the widget no longer shows a book as playing after the app has closed • A server you trusted with the in-app certificate check now streams, not only downloads Your account: • Signing out asks first, then removes that account's downloads and data from this device • Switching accounts keeps each account's books, progress and bookmarks apart • Listening done offline reaches the right server and is counted once CarPlay and Siri: • The car says so when Local Network access is off for Prosody • Books started from the car or by Siri while a stream reconnects now play as they should Security: • Your sign-in is sent only to your own server • A certificate you trust applies only to the server you trusted it for

Siri: say "Hey Siri, play Dracula in Prosody" (or any title in your library), or "Hey Siri, play my audiobook in Prosody" to pick up where you left off, on your iPhone or in CarPlay. CarPlay, with Prosody Plus: • Tabs for Continue listening, Library and Downloaded, with progress bars on every book • Browse your whole library by series, author or title • Bookmark and speed buttons in Now Playing • A clear message in the car when a book can't start or the connection drops Smarter resume: • After a phone call, the book picks up a few seconds before where the call began • A book you moved ahead on another device continues from there in the car • Your listening time keeps reaching your server after it restarts
