ArtSprout: Kids' Art Archive
Drawings, Crafts & Memories
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Kids' artwork piles up fast. Scan, sort by month and child, turn it all into musical videos and printable books. All on-device: no account, no upload, no subscription.
Your fridge is full. The drawers are overflowing. And every school year brings another stack of your child's drawings and crafts.
You snap a few photos, promise yourself you will organize them someday, and then lose them in a camera roll of thousands. Years later, that precious record of how your little one learned to draw is gone.
ArtSprout fixes that: scan it, save it, and let the app do the rest.
CAPTURE IN SECONDS
- Document scan with auto edge detection, deskew and brightening; shoot several pages in a row
- Or import up to 20 photos at once from your library
- Crop, rotate and flip with the built-in editor; originals are always kept
- Record a voice note on any piece, faster than typing
A TIMELINE THAT READS LIKE A MEMORY BOOK
- Works are grouped by month, with one hero piece opening each month
- Every piece shows your child's age at the time, like 3 yr 2 mo
- Search titles and tags; filter by type, child or favorites
A GALLERY WALL AT HOME
- Today's Pick: one highlighted piece that changes daily
- Favorites wall in three styles: waterfall, grid or polaroid
- Memories: auto-curated collections you can play with music
- On This Day: polaroid-style reminders of what they drew years ago
VIDEOS, COLLAGES AND PRINTS
- Turn artworks into a musical short video with crossfades, portrait 4:5, using built-in melodies, nature sounds or your own imported music
- Collage Studio: 2 to 9 works, 8 templates, export up to A4 print size
- Export a PDF collection laid out like a printable book, or print via AirPrint
- Share keepsake cards with title, age and date
GROWTH INSIGHTS
- 6-month trend chart, type breakdown, side-by-side comparison of your children, and automatic firsts
- Generate a shareable growth report card in one tap
MADE FOR MULTI-CHILD FAMILIES
- A separate profile and timeline for each child, strictly isolated
- A single tap filters the whole app to just one child
WIDGETS AND SHORTCUTS
- Home Screen widget shows recent works and your weekly count
- Scan new artwork right from Control Center; Siri shortcuts included
