Documents stay on your Mac: no uploads or app account required. Choose your compression settings Select Lossless, Conservative, Balanced, Smaller Size or Custom. Adjust JPEG quality and target DPI independently to balance image detail and file size. Preview before exporting Compare original and compressed sizes and space saved. Switch between the original and result, or compare them side by side. Scroll continuously, turn pages and zoom in the larger preview area. Select and copy document text. Work with password-protected PDFs Enter the correct password when prompted to preview and compress a protected PDF. Exports retain the original password, encryption method and permissions. Batch imports prompt for each password; you can retry after cancelling. Passwords are used only for the current task, never saved in settings or logs. Process multiple files Drag in PDFs or use the file picker. Export one result or save all successfully reduced files to a folder. Batch exports add numbers to duplicate filenames. Keep your originals Original files are never overwritten. Only smaller results that pass content checks are kept. Cancel a task at any time. Export any results you need before quitting the app. Try it, then unlock when needed Download free and successfully compress your first 30 PDFs at no charge. Failed or cancelled tasks and files that do not get smaller do not count. One in-app purchase unlocks unlimited compression permanently, with no subscription. Customers who paid for version 1.0 retain lifetime access. Have a valid offer code? Certificate-encrypted, digitally signed, fillable-form, damaged and zero-page PDFs are unsupported. Target file sizes in MB and new OCR are not available.
