Master Lincoln-Douglas and Public Forum from your first round to your first trophy. Daily lessons, an NSDA round timer, flow sheets, and games, start free.
SPADE Trainer takes you from "what is this event?" to "ready for my first tournament." It's a friendly, gamified coach for the two most popular high school debate formats, Lincoln-Douglas (LD) and Public Forum (PF), built by debaters, for beginners.
Learn a little every day, keep your streak alive, and walk into your first round knowing exactly what to do.
TWO COMPLETE TRAINERS
• Lincoln-Douglas : value debate, one-on-one. Learn to read the resolution, pick a value and criterion, and build cases for both sides.
• Public Forum : team debate on current events. Master constructives, crossfire, summary, and final focus with correct Pro/Con terminology.
• More events coming soon
LEARN BY DOING
• 11 units per event, each a bite-sized skill on a game-style path.
• Interactive lessons with quick questions, not walls of text.
• Sequential unlocking so you always know what's next.
• Earn XP, hit a daily goal, and build a streak that keeps you coming back.
REAL PRACTICE TOOLS
• NSDA Round Timer : the exact speech order and times for LD and PF, with separate, flexible prep clocks and 30-second and time-up alerts.
• Flow Sheet : a built-in flowing template to track arguments through the round, just like judges and top debaters do.
GAMES THAT SHARPEN YOU
• Fallacy Hunter, Evidence Sniper, Rebuttal Rush, Crossfire/Cross-X Challenge, Judge Mode, and more.
• Quick, replayable, and they still build your streak and XP.
BUILT RIGHT
• Works fully offline, no account, no login, no ads, no tracking.
• Everything stays on your device.
• VoiceOver and Dynamic Type support throughout.
