Better sound. Every recording was reprocessed to remove a background rumble and a slow wobble in volume that could be heard under rain and other steady sounds. All fifteen sounds are now matched to the same loudness, so switching between them no longer jumps in level. The lock screen shows large artwork that follows your light or dark setting, the sounds you are playing, and a countdown while a sleep timer runs. Artwork in the playback bar and in your lists keeps its proportions instead of being stretched, and tapping anywhere on the bar opens the player.

A Now Playing bar follows you through the app while sound is playing. Pause, resume or jump back to Listen from Mixes, Favorites, the mix editor or anywhere in the sound library. It shows the remaining sleep timer and sits neatly above the tab bar. Saved mixes, favorites and sound tiles now show what is playing, and tapping the current one pauses it. Your saved mixes and favorites stay in place.

Nature and everyday sounds now use real recordings, including rain, ocean waves, streams, fire and airplane cabin ambience. All recordings are included for offline listening.
