Type thickness, width, length and how many pieces. You get board feet immediately — and a warning when the numbers look like nominal sizes, because a "2x4" is really 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 inches. Nominal math buys 52% more lumber than you need.
Then hand it your boards and your parts, and get a cut list back: which piece comes off which board, and how much is left over.
WHAT IT DOES
• Board foot for one piece or a whole pile
• Nominal to real size, with the difference shown as a number
• Cut list from the stock you actually own
• Kerf included on every cut — 1/16", 3/32", 1/8" or 1/4"
• Offcut length per board, so you know what goes back on the rack
• Mixed stock: plan from full boards and the offcuts on the rack at once
• Save a project and open it again at the saw
• Fractions the way a tape measure reads them: 1-9/16", not 1.56
WHY KERF MATTERS
Three 32" pieces do not come out of a 96" board. Two cuts turn a quarter inch into dust. Plans that ignore the blade come up one piece short at the saw, and that is the moment you find out.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Manage or cancel in your App Store account settings. The lifetime purchase never renews.
